My sister is needing some nice dress clothes for work and is having a hard time finding any. Does anyone have any suggestion where she should shop for plus size clothes? Thanks

I love Lane Bryant. They start at size 14 and go up to size 28 I think. They have really nice dress clothes and I also got some really great jeans and work out clothes. If there isn't one near by she can also shop their website.

Is she willing to take some used clothing?????

I recently lost a lot of weight and would love to donate my clothes so I don't cheat my way up again. I was a size 14 and 16.

Depeding on what I have needed... and how "dressed up" I have had to be... here is where I have shopped.... Fashion Bug... (more casual), Avenue (more casual)... JCPenny... (casual and dressy).. Catherines.. (dressy.. and some casual...but not always my style... just depends)... Lane Bryant... although... in the store.. the dresses.. were more "going out" type... but... it just depends on what you like/need. Most of these places have discounts and online stores... Good Luck!!

Thanks for all the help. She has a hard time finding clothes becaue for one she is short, two she is small up top, all her weight is pretty much from the waste down. I will be sure to tell her about all these stores.

catherines.com is another one. I tried them when someone here posted a great deal on them and I have place two more orders since then. Really great quality and prices are great.

Depending on the size needed K-Mart, Fashion Bug, Sears, JCPenney...(online as well), and the others listed above. B&M--Macy's and Dillards offer petite plus sized pants and have tons of clearance merchandise this time of year. HTH...
