jamesave
8lbs is quite heavy for a 12.1 inch- how is the review?

ActuaryTm
The Computer Geeks reported weight may be a bit off. The manufacturer site states 5.5 lbs. Edit: at second glance, the weight mentioned is the shipping weight.
Ankit
Eh, tablets are very overrated! We've had one for about a year or slightly more than that, besides the initial "Whoa, this is cool" factor it isn't that great...

mike208
Yeah as ActuaryTm pointed out the 8 pounds listed is the shipping weight, actual appears to be 5.5lbs. I have recently been looking at tablet PC's. I am set to start back to college in a few months, and was looking forward to the new models supposedly coming out in the next month or 2. But this is a pretty decent deal, not quite the machine I wanted, but definately a little more wallet friendly then many of the other models I have been looking at. Wonder what kind of condition they are in? Man this is a tough call for me. Also in case anyone else checks there, I was reading the review from CNET and they list it as a 1.67Ghz CPU, the 2200+ if I recall correctly is actually a 1.8, right?
