Marge1 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Some outlet malls across the country (mainly Tanger outlets) have Oshkosh warehouse stores that opened Friday March 14th for a few weeks to clearance their clothes. Everything in the store is $4.99 and there are some great deals! When the merchandise is closed the warehouse store will close. (Not the regular outlet Oshkosh stores). They have both boy and girls clothes from size 0-16. Hurry in for the best selection. I got some great deals, including a snow suit for an 18 mo. old for $4.99.
Marge1 Posted March 19, 2008 Author Posted March 19, 2008 Well, I thought that $4.99 was a bargain for the Oshkosh clothes. I was at the outlet mall tongiht and when I looked over at the warehouse store they had a big sign $2.99. The woman said they received a call around 5pm today and they were told to change the price of everythign to $2.99! What a deal! They still have plenty of inventory in all sizes. If you have an Oshkosh outlet store near you (especially at the Tanger outlets) check it out. I have the list of locations but I could not upload the link here. If anyone has a question about one of the outlets near them you can ask and I'll check the listing. Happy hunting!
katiesmommy01 Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 man...i love oshkosh...but my baby just had her toncils out so no traveling for 3 weeks!!!! AGH!!!!
Marge1 Posted March 19, 2008 Author Posted March 19, 2008 I hope she is doing well now. Wish I could shop for you.
oneannm Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 man...i love oshkosh...but my baby just had her toncils out so no traveling for 3 weeks!!!! AGH!!!!Hope all is well and the baby heals quickly !!
katiesmommy01 Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 thanks guys...she really had a rough time at first, but is doing better now (BIG fan of the ice cream in the AM....) appreciate the thoughts. The nearest outlets for us are quite a drive (which i would happily do!), but they say no driving out of the area for 2 weeks after the surgury don't they know about sales???
guilliam Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I wonder if it's all the Oshkosh outlet stores? The closest one to me is in Jeffersonville Ohio and I'd hate to drive over 2 & 1/2 hours to get there if it's not
guilliam Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 The one in Ohio is at AuroraI went to one at the Jeffersonville outlet mall a few years ago, did it close?
Marge1 Posted March 20, 2008 Author Posted March 20, 2008 These are the states that have a temporary Oshkosh warehouse store. SC (2), NY (2), IL, PA (3), NH, GA (3), WI, MI, LA, OH, IN, AL, CT, TX, FL, MA, MO,OR Hope I have included them all. Ohio is only Aurora as Justinsmonny has said. Again, these are only temporary stores set up for a short time clearance sale. I was told my store will be open until March 31st and after that Carter's was going in to do the same type of sale. I think Carter's and Oshkosh are owned by the same company.
VTmommy Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Which locations in NH? I live in the Upper Valley, so Tilton is closest...but could possibly be convinced to go to North Conway! LOL Thanks!
Marge1 Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 It is the Tanger outlet in Tilton. That is the one I went to because I live right near it. The warehouse store is not the regular outlet Oshkosh store but in the store where the Springmaid store used to be. It's in a corner. It will be worth your trip I think. There is also an Old Navy store there now and they sometimes have some good sales. Happy shopping! The North Conway mall was not on the list.

amyers12345 Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Thanks for the info! There is one within an hour of me. Of course, it's not at my favorite mall, but that may make for a good trip on my day off. Plus, it's supposed to be gorgeous here tomorrow.
pinkroses4mommy Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Thanks for the post. I went to the one in Commerce, GA and got DD lots of tights, some socks, and 2 fleece hats for 99 cents each and a fleece zip-up one piece outfit with hood for $2.99.

I went to the one in Commerce, GA and got DD lots of tights, some socks, and 2 fleece hats for 99 cents each and a fleece zip-up one piece outfit with hood for $2.99. Did they have a lot of clothes for girls in size 4T?? Is that store $4.99 or $2.99? It is about 30 minutes away from me and I don't want to make that trip if I don't need to.
VTmommy Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) It is the Tanger outlet in Tilton. That is the one I went to because I live right near it. I have two boys, size 3T and 6 and a girl size M(10/12). Could also shop for a new baby girl that my friend in TX had on 12/20/07 and my newphew who will be 1 in July. And due to my current situation (I posted about it in the off-topic GD Lounge), I have the time on my hands for a little road trip to take my mind off things! LOL Edited March 21, 2008 by VTmommy
benafriend Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I pooped int he one in upstate NY on Sunday, they all kinds of clothes for each season. I had no clue what size the niece and nephew were though.
Marge1 Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 When I was there a few days ago they had plenty of things and a great selection. I think they had more for girls then boys but still plenty for boys. I didn't see a lot for older boys (12-14) but I spent most of my time looking at the girls and then they were closing. There is a ton for babies! Most of it is all season type clothes- pants that are not heavy weight, lots of jeans, long and short sleeve shirts. I got 3 pr of shorts but there were very few of them. I got tons for my 7 and 9 yr old granddaughters who live in Washington State now and there was a very good selection to choose from. Some of my friends went and bought about 150 items of clothes for their grandchildren. I think there will still be an excellent supply for the ages you were looking for in Tilton NH.
pinkroses4mommy Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Did they have a lot of clothes for girls in size 4T?? Is that store $4.99 or $2.99? It is about 30 minutes away from me and I don't want to make that trip if I don't need to.Everything in the Commerce store was $2.99, and socks, tights, gloves, & hats were 99 cents. Sorry, but I did not notice what they had in girls 4T. I was looking at 18-24 mths for girls and 7 for boys. They did not have much for boys at all in 6 & 7. They probably had 3 times as many girls clothes as they did boys. It was pretty much all winter clothes. Hope that helps some. If you go, it is over on the side where Children's Place is, and they had a really good clearance too. Lots of stuff for $1.99 & $2.99.
Kayakmom Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Is this sale still going on? I just saw this and my store is on the list.
disneynutangie Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I am going to call my cousin in Oshkosh, WI and let her know. More than likely she has been but I will remind her and ask her to pick a few things up for my niece. We are visiting them for 2 weeks almost in April so I can just bring them back home me if she buys anything.
Marge1 Posted March 22, 2008 Author Posted March 22, 2008 At my store the sale is suppose to last until March 31st they told me. I stopped in the store today and it was a zoo (it's a holiday weekend). The check out line was long. The store had about half the stuff of when they first started but still lots of things. I think it's worth your going. When they leave then Carter's is doing the same thing for a few weeks so anyone with a baby or fairly young child should look into it. Going the first few days is the best time and a non weekend is better then the weekends. Hope this is helpful.
pinkroses4mommy Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Are there going to be Carter's stores in all the same locations? I hope so. I love Carter's!! Do you know the start date of the Carter's sale?
Marge1 Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 I don't know any of the details. The woman at my Oshkosh warehouse just told me that they were suppose to be open until March 31 and then Carters was coming in. I imagine it will be at all of the same locations. I'm pretty sure that Carter's and Oshkosh are owned by the same company. All the coupons and sale gimics mimic each other. I would guess that they will stay about two weeks also. When I hear for sure I will post it.
momof3lovlies Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I went to the store in Troutdale, Oregon today (yes on Easter Sunday at like 5pm- we celebrate early). There were hardly any people there yet there was a ton of new stuff there. Lots of boys and girls and different sizes all the way up to 16 in boys. The price was $3.99 for most things with tights, socks and underwear $1.99. There were also neclaces and hair clips/headbands. I also got two pair of boys workboots for $3.99 and tennis shoes for the same. Slippers (just standard nothing too cute) were $1.99. They are supposed to get in a new shipment on Mon. and it will be all out for use to buy on Tues morning!
momof3lovlies Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 is this worth a 2 hour drive???????I would call the one you are going to to make sure they have quite a bit left in the size you are looking for but I would definetly want to go. I have four kids (one born after I picked my screen name :) ) and it was definetly worth it to stock up for next year. Not that many summer items but tons of winter.
momof3lovlies Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Forgot to add that it is definetly more shirts than pants but the girls section did have a fair amount of pants. The boys did not have that many pants but more shoes and tons of t shirts and long sleeve shirts.
