my2kidsmom
Any deal/recommendations of a good, but inexpensive vacuum cleaner? Ours is pretty old and suck...well, actually it doesn't...it kind of blows (more dust into the air)

Joli
Get a Dyson!! DH nearly died when he found out I spent almost $500 on a vacuum, once he used it he understood. It was pretty gross to see how dirty our carpet was.
momma_of_2boys
have to agree.. I LOVE MY DYSON.. i will NEVER own another vacuum
tokanm
IMHO Dysons are NOT worth the money...but to each his own. Kmart flyer has the Eureka Boss on sale..its yellow...it is cheap and we had one and it lasted over 3 years..with daily use and LOTS of pet fur
scrabbler
According to reviews, Dyson is not worth the money. I do agree with the Eureka Boss. I have the bagged version and agree with the reviews, it has worked wonderfully.
katiesmommy01
Check consumer reports!!!! Every library carries it, so you can just go in and check to see what is the most economical vacuum for quality (that's how I got mine...just too lazy to go downstairs and see what it was). Once you pick the one you want then just come back here and we'll help you find that vacuum for the best price!!! Just a comment though...don't get a bagless, because when you empty the canister you release so much dust etc. back into your air!!!
littlesdcen
I vote Dyson. I loved it so much I bought 2.(one for the office)
debbha
I love Dyson vacuums. The suction is great and I've owned one for over 3 years without any problems. No clogs or loss of suction. You get what you pay for sometimes.

freesia39
Just a comment though...don't get a bagless, because when you empty the canister you release so much dust etc. back into your air!!!this is why i kinda wish i had a bag vacuum, but they are so rare nowadays. since i have the bissel liftoff model, i just lift off the part with the canister and i take it outside onto my patio to empty. Ours is pretty old and suck...well, actually it doesn't...it kind of blows (more dust into the air)I read your post and I too am looking in to a new vacuum... I also need to stay within budget.... Dyson maybe good, but REALISTICALLY.. I am not going to drop $350 plus on a friggin vacuum:rolleyes:. I have been reading up and this seems to be not bad.... I haven't read any consumer reports on any vacuums yet. I've seen it at Target and Amazon for $129. http://www.amazon.com/Bissell-Velocity-Cyclonic-Upright-Vacuum%252d/dp/B000J67JL8 Let us know what you go with and your review! good luck
