Stopped in at Kmart this afternoon to pick up the 18 gallon container for $4 that was in the ad...they were all gone so I picked up a raincheck.

While I was there I found SOOO much clearance clothes! They were marked down alot and then you could take an additional 50% off that price! :eyepoppin Pajama's were mismarked at $4.00, and the lady was rushing over to fix the sign, but agreed to give them to us (the 3 of us there before she switched the sign) for $2.00!!!!:cheesy:

So I picked up 20 different pairs of flannel pjs for $40! Great for next winter and they were wrapped in bows, so great gifts! They were marked up to $4 a pair after the sign was changed, but that is still a great price for $17.99 pjs!

I also found LOTS of Disney princess and Dora clothes and pjs for my DD6 and a pair of Hannah Montana Sneakers for $13. Go check it out!!! I saved $170 overall

I was in our store today. They are taking an extra 40% off here on clothes and shoes. I bought Spiderman and Princess sandals for $1.80. Girl's tennis shoes for 3.00, tan baby sandals and tennis shoes (sz 2) for 1.80 and bigger kid shoes for 4 and 5.xx. I left with 8 pairs for 24.00!!!

Infant and toddler blanket sleepers were $1.80 after the additional 40%. I didn't even take the time to look at any other clothes.

My kmart was only 40% off. So I grabbed a pair of slippers for $1.80 and winter boots for $3.00 for my daughter. I will wait for the clothing to go an extra 50% off. I did grab 2 sun shades for the car for only .50.

There was a clearance table with hand towels, towels and wash cloths. The MS striped hand towels that are yellow stickered for $4 ring up $1 and the solid color ones marked $5 ring up .50.

Also found a Vidal Sasson hair dryer for $2.50. Its black with red buttons - not clearanced at all and in the regular health/beauty aisle way up top. There were still a bunch of the Conair hair beaders - but didn't need anymore of those.

I thought you could put clearance on lay-a-way....Called today and you can't. Oh poop!

Hmm, I wonder if that is a new policy-since i put several things on lay-a-way that were clearanced before Christmas. I will have to ask at my local the next time I go.

I would try to call again. I put a cart load of nothing but clearance on lay-a-way this weekend. Unless maybe it's a store by store thing but I wouldn't think so.

I was told you can put sale items on layaway but not clearance.

I found a sweet deal at KMART today. I saw a a Large jewelry box from Christmas sitting out on a clearance table. Originally $49.99, scanned for $4.99.

I remember when they were clearing things out after they announced they were filling bankruptcy and I worked there. I got TVs/Cameras/Sound systems, etc for 90% off! I would love to find deals like that again!

Mine had flannel PJs for $2 today too. They only had L and XL though so I didn't buy any. Lots of other clothing on clearance though. I was looking for college team shirts and they were also on clearance, but the addl. 50% off didn't apply to team clothing. Oh well, still a good deal since the ones I got were 50% off.

I went to kmart yesterday. I got Dove SkinVitalizer facial cleansing massager for $2.50. Wish I had a coupon with me so it would have been free! But it was the last one and I wasn't taking any chances.

I also got Martha Stewart 2 pack white cotton pillow cases for $1.00. Huggies Liquid powder for $.40. And a toddler blanket sleeper for $1.25.

The Kmart by us is probably the smallest in the US usually when they price stuff, they price it to go. They had framed pictures for kids rooms for 1.00 and pretty nice chair pads for 3.00 each. I got a pair of 29.99 curtains for 4.00. Mens sweatshirts were 2.00. Kinda felt like I was at a garage sale.

I got over 13 pairs of Joe Boxer 2 piece and 3 piece jammies for the kids today in all sections of the store (infant, toddler, girls, boys) for 1.50 a pair. They are the button up top and long bottom. I also got footy, zip up jammies for $2 a package up to size 5T

THX for the heads up!
