davephillyj Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I want some heavy type flatware that won't bend so easy and warp. Hubby won't let me spend over $50. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in Advance!
afrey66 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I have seen nice flatware on Amazon and HSN. If you have a Bed, Bath and Beyond, they have nice silverware and if you receive the 20% off coupons, you should be able to get a good deal. I bought a set on HSN right before Christmas for around $65, I think? But I'm sure you can find others for a little less. One more place to look may be Overstock.com. HTH and good luck.
Sugar&Spice Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 How about Boscov's? http://www.boscovs.com/StoreFrontWeb/Product.bos?assortmentDepartmentNumber=7154560&assortmentId=5&itemNumber=22153&type=Product or http://www.boscovs.com/StoreFrontWeb/Product.bos?assortmentDepartmentNumber=7154560&assortmentId=2&itemNumber=22160&type=Product They are 39.99 a set but shipping is $19 because of the weight.
lindaw Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I ordered a nice Wallace set from Dillards for son and daughter-in-law. 65 piece service for 12. With extra shipping to deliver clear across the country, it was $39.00. I thought that was a decent deal.
Nikki1524 Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 RUN dont walk to Kohl's. I needed a 8 place, and I was in the same boat as you , I didnt want to spend mega bucks, but at kohls I found Oneida 4 pc for 15.99, regular 79.00!!! I just got 2 of them to make up my 8!!!! Just last week, on one of those 70% off random stuff shelves in the kitchen items.
Penelope Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I saw several sets on clearance at Target on Thursday. I'm not sure of the price, but I am pretty sure they were under $50. Ross and Marshalls always carries a lot of sets. You might just luck out at one of those stores.
