ksjcc
Hello! I have been trying to think of ideas for you! How about a really nice card and a gift card from his favorite store like Lowe's or something? Or a gift basket with a new movie , some popcorn, his favorite drink, snacks etc(maybe make some massage coupons!!!!) Good luck let us know what you come up with!! :)
Rodaro
I've been thinking about giving him a massage certificate..I've been 2 times this month and keep bragging on how great it feels..His comment is "I wouldn't know, my wife doesn't give me a certificate to go"..So not sure if that's a hint or what...LOL Both of mine have been free with xmas cert. from family, so not sure if he's being a smart*ss or really wants to go..I guess if he doesn't like it, he could always give it to me..LOLOL..Not sure how he would feel about going there either..I told him that the lady told me that most men wear thier shorts cuz they feel uncomfortable in there briefs..She's so shy too, so I don't think he would feel weird around her either..so that's my idea and a big box of chocolates (that none of us need after the new yr. now)..Diets! Gotta hate em!
boblabontefan
Valentines Day is when I treat my DH like a king. I usually make reservations at a restaurant, then we go to a movie (or come home and rent one). I buy him flowers and a copy of Hemmings Motor News (instead of candy). Instead of the massage coupon I give him a great massage to get things going. It is the holiday that I use to thank him for everything he does for me. mudechevy
One year I got DH tickets to the Daytona 500 for Christmas. It just happened to fall on V-Day so I called around and had one of those banner planes fly around that said "Rick S, You make my heart race". It was like $150. Another time. I think it was for his birthday and he really liked the Dolphins.(years ago) I got him tickets to a game, put them in a ziploc and then into a bowl of cool whip because you KNOW he's gonna look in there. Brought it to him wearing nothing but a Dolphins hat. Call ahead to stadiums because a lot will put a message up on the light up boards for you for free. hpowers
I'm thinking there are only 2 things that men want for Valentine's Day. One of them is a beer.....

Just trade the flowers for creme brulee (Holy Cow, I love that stuff) and the Hemmings Motor News for some computer magazines. Lots of guys would like gift certificates for car washes and/or auto reconditioning, especially if that's one of their chores around the house. If your man likes beer, this is the Champagne of (full-bodied or dark) beers: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b3/Chimays.jpg/800px-Chimays.jpg It's expensive, but OMG is it good... I've had the Chimay Rouge (the red label) and the Chimay Bleue (the blue label) -- I prefer the Bleue, but the Rouge is good too. You may need to order it special from your beer outlet of choice (most places will do that at no extra charge), but Chimay is so worth it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimay_Brewery Depending on your spending limit, I think that my TomTom GPS Unit was the best money I ever spent. I have an iPod Shuffle MP3 player I like a lot, but if it died, I'd replace it with a Sansa Clip in a heartbeat.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8553834&st=clip+mp3&type=product&id=1188561248598

When I get together with my sister and brother in-law(about 2 times a year) we like to try different beer, and the Chimay is one of the ones we have tried and like a lot!!!
