fluffkin79 Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Will Walmart honor the local grocery store's price? At the grocery store Pepsi is 1.97 with store card. I have the card. Will Kmart?
luckynutmeg Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I doubt it. I once tried to buy a Wii game advertised as $10 cheaper in a Circuit City flier. I called WalMart, who said they would match it, but when I got to the store with the flier, the electronic department refused, even though customer service had patched me through to the department on the phone earlier.
emptynest-2 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Our walmart will price match as long as its a store within your town. Ours will not PM Target or Home Depot because we do not have these stores in Hot Springs. You have to take the ad from that store with you.
dgagnon Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 My local WalMart will price match other stores, in fact they normally mark down the items that are in the grocery ads so you don't have to price match, I have never had a problem even if it is a with card discount. I imagine that it depends on each store.
jadedmomof2 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Just go to the grocery store, since it's "with store care" Walmart will probably not price match the price then.
cacsmama Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 The only things my wal-mart won't accept are typically B1G1 without a stated price. They do this because their price could very greatly from the competitor. I've never had probelm with any stated price (expect when Babies r Us had a misprint for a too good to be true price on Similac!)
reereejones Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Right after Christmas I pricematched Wii games at Walmart that Target had for $37.00 without any problems.
naillady4jm Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I always take the flier to Wal-mart instead of going to the other store. Most time the other stores are out of what I need.
booga12345 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I always pricematch groceries at Walmart, expecially milk. I usually don't even need to ask the cashier. They just scan it and then put in the new price.
miatapaul Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I have even had them take the other store's money off coupons, even though their price is lower to start with. (I get $1 off 2 eight o'clock coffee coupons at both Stop and Shop and Price Chopper because I have bought them there before) I have never tried buy one get one free though.
godwinlt Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I have never had any problems with price matching @ Walmart - even on BF
