Is there a way to make this thing louder? I want to use it with the idog or beatmix bumblebee but you can barely hear the music over them

I don't think it is the mp3 - I think it is the I-dog. My ds's have I-dogs and the music just doesn't get very loud through them. I think that is why they made the AMP'D I-Dog's - they are supposed to be louder I think.

thanks, that is exactly what it was, we tried it on some plain speakers and the volume was much better just not as cute

thanks so much for responding now I realize I love the mp3 player but not the dog...lol, gonna order the chat diva and see if she plays any louder

Same here. We have both the idog and the barbiegirl. Very disappointed in the volume of the idog. Tempted to bring it back.

I purchased one of the Barbiegirl MP3 players from Amazon to save for DD's birthday in March. Does anyone have a better option for the idog where volume won't be a problem?

My daughter has an ipod mini that she uses with hew new Icat.... no problems with the volume on that.
