My question is why is a DSI for an 8 year socially acceptable and an ipod touch is not? The touch can be loaded with educational games and the DSI also has internet.

yes, this is definitely the big one (the mommy as my daughter would say) They didn't have clearance stickers but the price was on the shelf. I did get one of the walking kitties with the 50% off coupon from the toy book as well though

thanks, that is exactly what it was, we tried it on some plain speakers and the volume was much better just not as cute thanks so much for responding now I realize I love the mp3 player but not the dog...lol, gonna order the chat diva and see if she plays any louder thanks for responding, it never dawned on me that it was the dog

love this thread! dd(18months) HITS Chou Chou function doll that drinks water(she keeps screaming HER PEEPEE HER PEEPEE), Learn Through Music, Leapfrog Fridge DJ and the animal one, my first doll house no misses for her dd(3) HITS Barbie Girl mp3 (anyone know if the volume can go up any louder you can't hear it very well with the idog and I don't want her to use headphones) Mommy Make Me Better, Pixter and Leapfrog Fridge stuff, Dora Vanity misses no real misses with her either ds (5) hits bumblebee for mp3 player, The Tekno Robot, 1:6 scale truck and Carrera race track misses - alternator transformer (falls apart every time he tries to transform it) his mp3 player that only holds like 3 songs and isn't expandable, the jury is still out on the heely's that I got for 12 dollars with the fao shwartz/endless deal because he hasn't gotten the hang of them yet

what about taping it to a box of chocolate or something and wrapping that

I feel much better about my "overindulgence" now. I am going to have a 12 gift max and put the rest up for b-days, Easter...what can I say I'm addicted to deals and I am addicted to my kids so deals for the kids is too much for me to resist lol, about Santa coming for the dogs, my puppy is getting 3 stuffed animals and chew toys and his favorite treats...lol

If my husband did that to the list (even if his intentions were good) I would be upset, I would just get the things that weren't "tampered" with since you are both in agreement of those and call it a day, I think that would get the point across knowing me I would wrap the list in with one of the gifts with a line through the additions kudoos to you, you sound like a great husband!

your household is different from mine since I have 3 little ones so I do the same number (or close to it) but since you have an older child I would do equal amount and just explain to your 13 year old or ask your 13 year old would they prefer the same amount of smaller gifts or the bigger pricier gift in conversation so you kinda know how it would go over

With all these great deals all 3 of my kids will have approx 15 gifts each. How about you all? How many gifts will each child be getting
