yellowjeepster Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I am going to return the Uniden DXA15688 Series cordless phone I bought at Target on bf. All three handsets give me almost constant static so bad that I can't even use them. I gave away both of my old phones b/c I thought this one would meet my needs. So now I need to find a cordless w/3 handsets and a answering machine fast. Any recommendations on a good phone and price on it?
Giggles Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 I bought a Vtech a few months ago. It came with three handsets with answering machine. Works great so far. I think I got it at Best Buy but I also saw it at either Home Depot or Lowe's. Got it on sale for $59.00
Azzycat Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Stay away from ANYTHING Uniden. It just wasn't that model. My friend and I both have different series Uniden phones and they are the worse ones we've ever encountered. Short battery life that cuts you off in the middle of conversations... dropped calls... bad bad phones...
freesia39 Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 uniden has always worked out great for me - i'm on my second one. i hardly ever use my landline, so that may have something to do with my phone life. vtech, on the other hand, is not a highly recommended brand. panasonic phones have worked well at my parents home.
Ripn Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Panasonic KX-TG1033S Digital Cordless Phone with DECT 6.0 Technology & 3 Handsets I bought these @ Sears on their family shopping night, they are $83.63 now @ Amazon. They have worked very well for me so far.
yellowjeepster Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 Thank you all for the replies. My last 2 phones were Uniden and were ok but this last one is terrible. I think I will try the Panasonic this time around and hope for a sale.
