Can anybody tell me how this would compare with the Vizio 37" tv?

It is cheaper and it has free shipping, so no lugging it home and trying to squeeze it into

the Camry:p

 

What exactly does widescreen mean? Is it a regular picture or the narrow stretched out version?

Well 1 difference is that the Vizio's I have been looking at have a max of 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The Olevia's appear to be starting at 1,600:1 contrast ratio(better)

Olevia is better, in my opinion. I have 2 of them. A 32" and a 37". Great TVs for the money.

I have the 32 inch for a year now ( thanks gotta deal :) ) 1600:1 contrast ratio is the highest your going to find for this price. I have NO complaints at all. Also a consumer reports best buy
