  1. Sweet deal, but with tax, it comes to more than Amazon, which is currently $39.99 (at least for a code, rather than a physical card).
  2. The Disneyland game gets great reviews. I got it for my niece & nephew who are at Disneyland right now. It was Dance Central 2 that I got, since we already had the 1st one.
  3. I got Yoostar, Dance Central, & Sports for $59.65. Already got Disneyland when it was $21.99 on Amazon, last week. Almost got Sports 2 instead of Yoostar, but was afraid I might get that given to me as a gift, and Yoostar looks like fun.
  4. I wish they hadn't taken so long to match Best Buy on this deal. I already ordered from Best Buy on Sunday. I could have saved a few bucks on tax. Oh well, at least my games have already shipped.
  5. This is a great deal on this highly-rated laptop. It has 1600x900 display, Intel i5-460 processor, 4 GB of mem, 640gb HD, ATI 1gb dedicated graphics, and so much more. Check out reviews on-line (on Best Buy, Cnet, etc). It is fast and powerful. Only drawback is short battery life of less than 3 hours. But most of us have our laptops plugged in the majority of the time anyway. I almost bought this while searching for a laptop for myself. Got a Thinkpad instead, but just bought this for the wife, since her HP is constantly having problems. LINK
  6. ...and they have $20 off if you use PayPal and spend $75 or more.http://etoys.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p6947226th.gif
  7. If you use an Amex card, you can get $15 off $100 with the code AMEXWISH.
  8. In California, they do not expire. Gist cards/certificates cannot expire in California, by law. (Unless the company goes out of business)
  9. Depends on the restaurant. Most add the 18%, but I usually tip 20%, so that saves me money. If they add the 18%, and the service is poor, they'll hear about it. Minimum purchase on most that I've seen is $35. I got one that was $50 (Mountain Mike's pizza).
  10. I've used printed coupons for a different site, at a pretty nice restaurant. No problem at all. In this economy, they'd be stupid to give you a hassle.
  11. If you're looking for a laptop with a good graphics card, and most other bells and whistles, for a decent price, I suggest the HP Pavilion dv6-1260se Artist Edition 2 16" Notebook. If you try to configure one of their other laptops, and upgrade to the graphics card included in this laptop, it will cost you $400 just for that upgrade. This has AMD Turion X2 ZM-85 2.3GHz / 4GB RAM / 500GB Hard Drive / ATI Radeon HD 4650 / DVD±R/RW / Webcam / 802.11AGN / Vista Home Premium 64-Bit $879.99 at jr.com, $879 at Beach Camera, and $896.56 at Amazon. There is currently a $50 rebate available, and HP is offering free upgrade to Windows7, when it becomes available. I bought mine from jr.com. Used my Amex, and got triple rewards points (over $25 worth of points). If you have an Amazon card, and buy from Amazon, you'd get triple points for that, too. But with Amex, you get an extra year on the warranty, for free, and 90 days of protection against loss, theft, or accidental damage. I live in CA, and would not have paid tax at any of these retailers, and all are offering free shipping.
  12. doublehsmom: After you pay, you can immediately print out the certificates. They will also send you an email with links to them. I think I have used them before, or maybe it was something similiar. Seems like a great deal, though. There are restrictions. Most places want you to spend at least $35, and many will add an 18% gratuity on the original total of the bill (I usually tip at least that much, anyway). Many are for dinner only, and a few are for weekdays only. But the restrictions for each restaurant are clearly listed. Hard to go wrong for $2.00 (and since you print it out, no shipping fees)
  13. All $25 gift certificates at restaurant.com are $2 each today and tomorrow if you use the coupon code: NAPKIN I got $125 worth for $10 http://www.restaurant.com/
  14. Significantly less for me. Son starts college this fall.
  15. Thank you, both. I have looked at more reviews, and maybe the 1200 will be ok. Trying to find something for less than I paid originally, though. I did find the pink 1100 (w/ another printer) for $199, but don't need another printer, and would rather not pay that much. But I guess I could ebay the printer... Well, the old camera still seems to work, so everything might be ok, after all. It is scratched, and I've ordered a new lens ring (it fell off), but I think it still works. Can probably wait for xmas deals, and maybe get the 1100 or 1200 for same or less than I paid last year.
  16. Try this site: http://www.sportscases.com (Not very cheap) Or try Michael's (crafts store), if you have one in your area. They usually have 40-50% off coupons, that can be used on one non-sale item.
  17. Desperately seeking a good deal on this camera. I bought one for my wife at Christmas time. It was $169, and that came with a printer. My son broke it today. Now, that same package is $399, and it is $299 for just the camera. A pink one is preferred, to match the printer, but color is not really important, and we don't need another printer, unless it can be found for less with the printer than w/o it. This camera has been replaced in Canon's line by a newer one that is apparently not as good (SD1200), so I do not want the newer model. I want the older, hard to find model. I do not want the A1100, either. My 17-year-old son will be paying for this, so we do want to find the best deal possible. Thank you!
  18. Buy 2 used games, get one free. Code: GSB2G1. (Or just go to a store).
  19. Is the 20% off code only good on xmas stuff? Edit: No, it appears to be good on everything. No free shipping this week?
  20. If they don't taste good, you can't always decorate your desk with them... (see photos on Amazon - I would have so many ants if I tried that)
  21. Yes! Because of this post, I went to bestbuy.com, and found NHL 09 for the 360, on sale for $37.99. Less than $41 with tax (free shipping!) And expected to arrive before Christmas! All their EA Sports games for the Xbox 360 are on sale, and all include free shipping!
