  1. dont buy the fm transmitter and just get some of those cheap cassette adapters for 5 dollars. it's 100x times better quality and not to mention cheaper. it's basically a cassette with a standard cord that will plug into where your headphones are. hope that helps!
  2. as a manager with regal entertainment down here in miami, i scoff at this thread! ;p
  3. yeah i also have the 237t olevia, it's amazing and one of the best purchases i've made.
  4. i got the 237t olevia and it is probably one of the best LCD's i've used. picture quality is superb and rivals the best.

    KMart DVDs

If you were in the lookout for DVDs, you better rush over there now or be disappointed. I was fairly in the front of the line, and everyone thought i was nuts being there and not getting a WII or a TV (I bought the olevia 37in at target, this was a good deal on the 32in but i wanted atleast a 37. I know. im picky!) anyways, they had _TWO_ if you were lucky of each specified movie for 3.99. I was FIGHTING for them. Luckily, things went my way and I got one of everything I wanted. Just a quick warning!

im also curious about this. how many dvds do they usually get? and how long do they last? planning out my strategy!
  9. is this a good dvd player for the price? i just purchased the target 37' lcd hdtv and am looking for a good dvd player to display the dvd's im going to purchase on blackfriday, flawlessly
  10. just bought the 37' olevia at target to get price adjusted on friday. yawn. black friday seems a bit boring now though ;/ no real good deals. although that upscaling dvd player at walmart looks pretty nice for 28$ some dvd's, a home theatre system, and i think im good!
  11. did you not see the crock pots on sale at walmart?.......
  12. yeah those prices are terrible. hope thats newegg's black friday ad.
  13. does target accept price matching of dvd's from other retailers as well? if so, i'll just buy them in advance and get my refund back on friday. can anyone confirm this will work?
  14. can you post a reply from target corporate here on the 37in olevia lcd? or pm me it? i really think thats the best deal for a 37in this holiday season, so i'm going to avoid waiting the line and hit up other places and gather some dvds/sound system/furniture. thanks!
  15. what time do they usually come online on thanksgiving day?
  16. no tv in the black friday ad for home depot on another note, can anyone answer my question on page 10? ;p
  17. hi all, im pretty new to this site and am looking to purchase my first hdtv for my bedroom. ideally, i'm looking for a 37, 40, or a 42 inch lcd that i can watch normal cable broadcast, upscaled dvds, and hook up my xbox 360 to. which one this black friday should i be going for? i've created a spreadsheet with certain specs from all the models (32-42) that are in my price range (sub 700 preffered, a bit flexible to go up to 800.) i have a few questions though: as far as brightness, which is better? 450 cd/m2 or 500 cd/m2? does it matter? as far as contrast ratio, is it... the higher the better? as far as response time, which is better? 6ms? 8ms? the higher, or lower the better? i've read some confusing things on this.. as far as resolution: is it necc. to get 1080p (or 1080i for that matter.) for my needs mentioned above? any help in getting me to select the best hd-tv for the price would be helpful. i DONT want to spend a lot of money, however if it'll cost me a hundred or two to get simply 2x the product on an investment that will atleast be 400 (based on the black friday prices,) it would be stupid for me to hold back. i'll settle for a 32 in. if that after all is the best product for price, given my price point. but bigger is better! thanks in advance!
  18. hi everyone, looking for a 32in, or a 37 in (if no 32 are worth it absolutely, but i'd like a 32in) for the bedroom. help?
  19. do they leak ads as well or is it a suprise suprise on black friday? best buy just leaked and compusa is set to follow. got to see where im spending my money! thanks!
  20. I'm very curious to know if websites post black friday ad's online as well, or if its only the major retailers who send them out with the paper. I'm personally looking to build myself a new computer, and would like to know where is the best place to get deals on parts. I believe newegg and tigerdirect were mentioned to me, but where will the black friday love be? If anyone has inquired of experianced anything similar in the past where they were looking for computer parts or a new computer on black friday, and looked into online sites i'd appreciate a comment! Thanks.
