latrischler
Has anyone heard of lego deals for this fall? I scanned through some ads but didn't see anything, maybe I'm missing it. These are the ONLY things my son is asking for!!!
sbaldasare
I just heard an ad for a 2 day sale at Toys R Us that stated Legos 50% off. Not sure what sets it will include. I am keeping my fingers crossed for Star Wars, but I probably won't be so lucky. Keep your eye out for further details. I'm sure it will be discussed on here as soon as the details are released. momsam
They are ALWAYS a BF deal at most of the big retailers for 50% or less. And they are usually in AMPLE supply, so I wouldnt sweat this one. I assume you want the reg legos and not the large block type? They are always 9.99 BF and after....I have 2 big bags from last year in constant use,lol....best 19.98 I ever spent (for 2)....good luck ! latrischler
Yes, I want the regular size legos. Really anything, can be buckets of the plain bricks, or even some of the theme ones, he just wants legos! I'll keep watching the BF ads.
tazolover
Currently at TRU, if you buy 1 set of Bionicle or other specific Lego sets, you can get another set for 50% off. If you spend more than $49, you get free shipping. Good Luck!
theresamax
I called my TRU and they said there is no Legos on sale for the sale on Friday. I need Legos also so I hope this isn't true but she said she was reading from a copy of the actual ad
jax81772
Are you near an Aldi? If you go to the website... www.aldi.com... and look under special purchases, it looks like they will be having some for BF. Also, try Gordmans and Big Lots. mildmom
Did you look on lego.com? They change their sales often. They have free shipping through the end of the month if you spend $99 code FSH99 They have several things I can't find in regular stores. If you belong to Upromise you can get 3% back. My boys are SO into legos. Here is an idea too: the Lego Advent calendar comes with a new mini set for each day.

Azzycat
Target has a lego set in their BF ad. They have also had some lego sets in the clearance section the last month. They have Mission: Mars on sale this week (the lego sets). Check the clearance section in January @ Target, I stocked up on lego for my son's bday then. I got some Star Wars Lego 50-75% off!! I found this super cool website recently. It has links to TONS of lego sellers and you can search by sets, etc. Lots of good deals if you look around hard enough! http://www.bricklink.com/
mildmom
If you go to lego.com there is a link to legofactory.com where he can design his own model and they will send you the pieces. You can even design your own box for free. It is a little frustrating and slow though, so will work better if your son is older (8-9-10 maybe). My sons designed some things last spring; (they mostly wanted the people) and I ordered the ones that he most wanted for his birthday. The prices are reasonable BUT you better get started now because it ships from Sweden I think and takes awhile (2-3 weeks). You could let him build something (make sure you save the design) and then order it w/o him knowing- that would be fun.
Crue2001
There's a $5 off/$35 for Legoshop.com listed in the hot online deals section (currently on pg 2), but I didn't read all of the details yet.
