Saw this on another board..thought I'd post this because the info is pretty spot on..I can't say anything other than that although you can probably guess why I can't comment. I'll let the post speak for itself..I'm only reposting here so you guys are aware..

The post read as follows:

was at our local BB tonight (Cherry Hill NJ) and I was getting new cell phones for myself and the DH. We asked "Eric" if he had any inside info about BF and what was going to be on sale. He said he did not know about the store specials, but T-Moblie was telling them that anyone who signed an agreement at BB on BF would get two airline tickets to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Like I said, this is a RUMOR at this point, but I figured I would let people know. If it's true, the last day to cancel our new Verizon service is BF and I will be up there getting T-mobile and the airline tickets to take the DS to the Nick Hotel in FLA!!!

Just saw this on a cell phone message board..I've copied and pasted it below. If you want to know the site, just PM me and I'll tell you. The guy who posted this works at a T-Mobile store.

On Black Friday weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun after Thanksgiving) T-Mobile will be giving away One Round Trip Ticket to most major cities in the US for any Individual Post Paid activation, and 2 Round Trip Tickets for a Family Post Paid activation. Here are the details:

Must be a New Activation, sorry existing customers. Existing customers can participate if a new line of service is activated.**

Individual - Plan must be $39.99 or higher, Family - $69.99 or higher, myFaves is not required

Major Cities will be posted when they are all confirmed, but its over 40 cities in the US

Tickets will be mailed out in April of 2008, and valid until April 2009.

**Keep in mind, T-mobile will be ensuring that the lines of service stay active, hence the reason why no tickets will be received until April '08**

And that's pretty much it! Have friends and family that want to sign up for T-Mobile, have them get ready for a free trip while they're at it! Oh, and I believe we are the first source to have this posted anywhere, so spread the word!!

If you have any questions, sound em off below!! Lata!!

Hey, another HoFoer! I knew I wasn't the only one! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Yes/highfive.gif (I'm Marcster over there too).

You'll be able to post links in the future, hang in there. T-Mobile has horrid service in my area -- make sure you look at the coverage map if you are considering this offer:

Service isn't THAT great here but T-Mobile is and well always be my favorite provider.

Oh, when I bought my BlackBerry Pearl, RIM (the maker of the BlackBerry) was giving away a free ticket as well but when I got it in the mail it was really a B1G1 kinda thing. So, you had to buy the first ticket for $300-$400 and then the 2nd was free. So, watch out it could be the same company processing this.

This has to be on a 2 year contract from what I'm hearing. Here's the info I have.

New or existing customer activates, renews, or migrates to a 2-year myFaves rate plan on November 23-25

ah i'm out. i just don't have that much commitment in me. i'll stick with their pre-paid. :)

thank you though, this seems like a wonderful deal for those that are willing to do a 2 year contract.

The other restriction is that you have to pay your bill on time for at least 3 months. Package sounds too good to be true, but it is. I have 3 friends that work for T-Mobile, and they sent out the message to all their friends on their lists. You have to activate a 2 year plan with the MyFaves. I also saw it advertised on tv here in Chicago

I currently have T-mobile with 5 lines and the Familytime plan. I have been out of contract for over a year. I plan on switching to MyFaves and getting another 2 yr contract and want new phones for each line.

Does anyone know if I will be able to get the free airfare being that I am a current customer? Would my husband have to start it under his name instead and maybe all of our numbers would have to change. We really don't want to switch it like that.

The deal is good for existing customers only. You would have to start all new lines under your husband and everyone switches phone numbers....

I am an existing customer..... Do you mean that the deal is for new activations only? new customers?

If it is only new customers I might not do it. Don't want new numbers.

I think I will check it out at Costco since they have some deals for members. Not sure how good the deals are though..:cheesy:

This is from the FAQ section:

Is this offer open to existing T-Mobile customers?

Yes. Existing T-Mobile customers can participate in this offer. To become eligible for the Free Flight Booking Request form they must:

Switch to a qualifying myFaves plan with a new two-year contract or renew your current qualifying myFaves plan by signing up for a new two-year contract during November 23 to November 25; please contact Customer Care to do this

Send in the completed application form postmarked by December 31, 2007

Ensure your account is active on a qualifying myFaves rate plan with no overdue balances as of February 29, 2008.

Looks like all you have to do is renew for 2 more years between 11/23 and 11/25 as an existing customer.

MDCRIM is correct. This deal is open to new AND existing customers. Existing customers only have to switch to a 2 year my Faves plan so that would work for you Jenn. I don't know if any of the dealers are offering this (sorry I didn't look at all the info they sent us). I do know if you want new service and sign up for a qualifying MyFaves individual or family plan you can get the promotion.

Jenn just call customer service Friday and ask about switching to a MyFaves family plan. They will tell you if they can do that for you over the phone. If they can't, they will tell you to go to the closest T-Mobile store and will also tell you what to ask the sales rep for. I think though since you are an existing customer, they should be able to migrate you over to a MyFaves family plan and either send you the qualifying paperwork or email it to you.
