  1. I am having the same problem with it not connecting to WiFi and will not sync even when directly connected. I'm going to return mine also. Also, they don't have much customer support and other consumer reviews tell of the same problem with not syncing. Borders has the Kobo wifi reader for 99.99 right now for Borders members. Maybe I'll try that.
  2. Update: It's not listed in the regular Best Buy ad. I just bought it online at Best Buy, used my $5. reward and am picking it up at the store. $49.99 is a great price!
  3. I now see Best Buy has the Literati reader on sale for $49.99 online. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/The+Sharper+Image+-+Literati+Digital+Reader+-+Black/1215556.p?id=1218234934099&skuId=1215556 Has anyone tried to price match this new price with Kohl's? I want to try it! Everyone still loving their Literati? I suppose if I get it for under $30. it is worth a try!
  4. That's a great deal! And to NOT have to wait in line is even better! The ones I bought are a different model number WM2101HW and DLE2101W. I noticed that the model numbers were different when I saw the the LG pair in the BB ad. I wonder what the difference is? I heard, in a financial article posted online, that some BF appliances and electronics are special models made just for BF deals, with less features, and they are not the models that would be in stock normally. Apparently Sears did this and could not have enough of the BF model manufactured to keep up with the paid orders from BF. Update: Ok, I just compared and the model I bought has a built in water heater and a 10 yr warranty on the motor among other things. The BF set does not have this. So, I feel a little better about the purchase now (and not getting the BF set)...
  5. If anyone knows that HD WILL price adjust, PLEASE let me know! I'll go back with my receipt.
  6. I looked at this and was dissapointed at how little features the Samsung had. Then decided to check out what Home Depot had to offer. I ended up purchasing the LG wm2101hw and dle2101w for $998. ($600. off)at Home Depot. Used my HD credit card and got 12 months no interest no payments and free delivery/haul away. I bought the pedestals for $229 each. I'm glad I looked at the HD ad. The LG has many more features than the Samsung on sale at Lowe's.
  7. I just bought the LG washer/dryer front loader pair this morning for $998 (save $600. on the pair). It's model number WM2101Hw and DLE2101W. Not the steam washer/dryer, but a great set! It is in the ad that runs from 11/19 - 11/25. There is also a Maytag front loader set for $600. off. I used my HD credit card and got 12 months no payment or interest (if paid in full within 12 months). We have the cash for the washer dryer but not the pedestals. So, this enabled me to purchase the pedestals at the same time ($229 each) so they could be set under the washer dryer during installation. Otherwise, you are stuck trying to lift the washer/dryer yourself if you decide to skip the pedestals now and buy later. Free delivery and haul away. I actually saw the Lowes deal for the Samsung washer/dryer, but the Samsung has too little cycles and temperatures. I decided to look at Home Depot and found this pair. I'm so glad I found the HD LG deal instead of the Lowe's Samsung set!
  8. I am an existing customer..... Do you mean that the deal is for new activations only? new customers? If it is only new customers I might not do it. Don't want new numbers. I think I will check it out at Costco since they have some deals for members. Not sure how good the deals are though..
  9. I currently have T-mobile with 5 lines and the Familytime plan. I have been out of contract for over a year. I plan on switching to MyFaves and getting another 2 yr contract and want new phones for each line. Does anyone know if I will be able to get the free airfare being that I am a current customer? Would my husband have to start it under his name instead and maybe all of our numbers would have to change. We really don't want to switch it like that.
  10. Thanks mulchman and pampam. This is a gift for my mom. I am not sure if she would be happy with the mini since it does not seal the gallon size bags. Her b-day was Monday and I really wanted to give this to her on Thanksgiving. She lives about 1 1/2 hours away. I'll have to talk to her and see which one she would like.
  11. On the ad scan it is really fuzzy and cannot tell what the regular price is. It says it is Foodsaver 325, but I cannot find that model on the internet to find the price. I am looking for a gift for my mom who's b-day is 11/21. She wants a Foodsaver and I only want to spend around $50.00!!
  12. The 65" rear projection tv at Sears, is that any good. It is only 1999. so I am concerned that it is not the best. I don't know anything about these new tv's. We have the same tv's from 10 years ago. My dad bought a 61" from Best Buy last year. It was not a BF deal. There was a 40" or something for BF deal that was 888. and he saw the bigger tv's and bought the "big one". Now we go to his house and it is like a movie theatre! Our tv is like 20 something inch. Teeeney!
  13. The last time I went to WalMart BF two years ago I went to my friend's WalMart out at the edge of town. We spent about 10 minutes getting doorbusters and 50 minutes in the layaway line!! We shopped for about an hour and got in line and there were 2 people in front of us. The front line was really quick, it was the layaway that was a problem!! This year we want a trampoline with the protective fence around it
  14. Here's you or were you like Here are your co-workers That must have been an interesting day at work! I know I HATE watching the clip of me on BF, I didn't say what I wanted to say and I was all giddy and acted like I was in line for Disneyland!
  15. I bought the Minitek Dvd player 2 yrs ago BF. It had a teeny 5 inch screen and we mounted it on the back of the driver's seat. It started to get a line through the picture about 8 months after having it. Then someone stole it right out of our SUV. Not such a great idea to leave it in there. I too want the dvd player with two screens. I will clean out my garage and park the SUV in there if I keep the dvd player in the car!
  16. I thought about that later too. Then I was glad that the item was not in stock and all of the gifts would be a surprise. My son did ask me about the toy and I told him it was out of stock. Don't worry, both my kids had a great Christmas and didn't think twice about the gift that I talked about on TV! And I was worried about what I looked like, even if I did put on makeup, it was just too early to look good!!
  17. On my first Black Friday I went to KBtoys at the mall and the news showed up and interviewed me! They asked what I was looking to buy and it was the Hotwheels or Matchbox, criss-cross-crash toy. I got into KBToys and they were gone! I got so caught up with the sales, I bought $200. worth of toys because they were giving away Buzz Lightyear! Anyway, my DH recorded it from tv that morning and just reminded me he had it recently when converting our VHS tapes to DVD. It is funny thinking about it now, but I'd rather not watch myself on tv again! Anyone else been on the news on BF??
