pmdemey Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Just curious. This is the first year attempt so I`d like to be semi prepared.
dmmiller Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Are you wanting to know how long it takes to get delivered? Or how long it takes to make the actual order?
AndreaInNC Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I had no problem with BestBuy.com last year. I ordered in the wee hours on turkey day, selected instore pickup (unless the shipping was free) and picked them up on Monday. Site never crashed on me, was easy to navigate. The items that I had selected with instore pickup that were no longer available were shipped free to me by Best Buy. I'll be ready to log on early Thanksgiving (before 7am).
MrsTrish Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Took me four hours on WalMart.com last year, to get my order done.

L239x Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I wonder if any stores will have their door buster items on-line this year. I would love for COMPUSA to do it because the two CompUSA's near me closed down. Now the closest one is 35-45 minutes away. I though about shopping on line last year, but you had to pay more for the doorbusters because the doorbuster prices were only available in-store. The other drawback would be to order something and then get a notice a couple days later that the item is out of stock and you money is being refunded because the item will not be restocked. Has anyone had that happen? It happened to me but it wasn't BF. I was excited about getting the deal I got and was anxiously waiting for it to arrive when I got an email a week or two later stating the item was no longer available and my money was refunded. Talk about dissappointment!

Talk about dissappointment!Compusa can no longer compete, being heavily reliant upon rebates, which were sometimes problematic to process. Compusa used to be my favorite stop, but their change in tactics toward the customer last year proved to be their undoing. I had items ordered during the black friday rush period that were canceled. Others were delayed. this was primarily from online retailers like Buy.com, and Amazon.
