  1. ok, I got some codes in the mail - that took about 3 1/2 weeks. so far I've only got about half of what I sent out. Hopefully the other half is on the way.
  2. Thanks, I'm on the east cost (Maryland) so I hope that's why it's taking longer.
  3. I mailed out my envelopes 3 weeks ago. Does anyone have any idea about how long it takes to get a reply. I am wondering if I did the thing right. 1. I hand printed my name and return address on index cards. 2. I placed each index card in a seperate envelope 3. Each envelop was addressed to the Pepsi Stuff address (hand written) 4. Each envelop had a valid us postage stamp I did not incude my return address on the outside of the envelopes, that's what has me worried. I don't drink alot of soda so the only real way for me to accumulate any points is by mail. So far I have 9 points from tops I managed to get my hands on after an office party.
  4. OH! THANK YOU! "There is a NPN aspect where you can send your address and they will send you 4 free codes." I was wondering if there is a limit on the number of mailed request per household (address). Also, On my bottle of pepsi it states: for 1 free game piece/official rules send name & address to PO Box 3418, Young America MN. Is this the same address to send and get 4 free codes? Lastly, what does NPN stand for. I am really looking forward to getting Amazon's unboxed TV downloads
  5. Yeah, Last year I got the 250 laptop for my son. My sister go the laptop and the mini camcorder. I wanted a laptop for myself this year. I hope BB has another last minute ad with another laptop and hopefully it will be somewhere between $200 and $300.
  6. The Cingular/AT&T prepaid plan that is .10/minute does include free mobile to mobile calls. HOWEVER, this plan includes a $1 daily usage fee for everyday the phone is used. Which means if you use your phone 25 days out of the month, you end up paying $25 dollars + .10 for every minute of talk time.
  7. On more thing about Net 10 I haven't seen Net 10 phones in the stores, however they all (Walmart, KMart, Sams, Target) carry the Net 10 prepaid phone cards. Although I could by the minutes at Walmart for at a small dicounted price, I usually buy my minutes online at the net 10 site. My phone (Motorola C155) was $30 plus it came with: 300 minutes 30 bonus minutes outlet charger with adapters Car charger carrying case ear phone GREAT DEAL! It was like buying the minutes and getting the phone and accessories free I ordered our phones on line. Here is their web address http://www.net10.com/home_page.jsp
  8. I did my research last year when I decided to go with a pay as you go phone. The best deal for me was Net 10. I don't have long conversations on my cell phone. I mostly use it to let someone know I'm on my way or that I am running late (the cell phone's original purpose). Every now and then I'll have a 20 minute convo with my mom or sister, but my average call usually last about 2 to 3 minutes. .10/minute talk (always) .05 for text messages unused minutes are carried over I usually buy the 300 minute card for 30$ every two months which equals $15 per month. I have never run out of minutes. With Net 10, your only pay for minutes. I've noticed that most of the other pre-pay plans have an additional monthly plan charge in addition to the minutes you have to buy. ______________________________________________ The first pre paid phone I got was for my son. It was the Cingular Go phone. Wall Mart had the phone on sale. The call plan was the .25/minute. (this was before I did my research) After doing some research I switched him to the Net 10 plan and got one for myself. (he was able to transfer his #) He use to run out of minutes ( and that was just too tuff because, unless he was paying, I refused to buy more than his alloted 300 minutes every 2 months) He use to talk to friends on his cell phone while he was at home and our land line was available. He has since learned how to limit his unnessary wastful cell phone usage. Now 300 minutes every two months is more than enough for him as well.....By the way, he has a job now and pays for his own minutes, which may be another reason he has curbed his talk time ... because he now knows the value of a dollar.
  9. I wonder if any stores will have their door buster items on-line this year. I would love for COMPUSA to do it because the two CompUSA's near me closed down. Now the closest one is 35-45 minutes away. I though about shopping on line last year, but you had to pay more for the doorbusters because the doorbuster prices were only available in-store. The other drawback would be to order something and then get a notice a couple days later that the item is out of stock and you money is being refunded because the item will not be restocked. Has anyone had that happen? It happened to me but it wasn't BF. I was excited about getting the deal I got and was anxiously waiting for it to arrive when I got an email a week or two later stating the item was no longer available and my money was refunded. Talk about dissappointment!
  10. LOL, Thats funny. MEN! they always get theirs and don't care if you got your's or not .... get you mind out of the gutter, I talking about sleep:cool:
  11. seems like the lines start forming earlier and earlier each year. I am not happy about that. I wouldn't be suprised if in a couple of years the line starts forming on the Monday befor Thanksgiving:( I wish we could go back to the good old days of starting the line early on Black Friday, like around 4:00am. That way I can veg out infront of the TV after Thanksgiving Dinner; the way God meant for it to be.
  12. ummm...what are your waiting for, post them ******, starting with Best Buy. Hell, at least give us some spoilers! ... starting with Best Buy. Last year I think Best Buy was the last one to post - It was the last one I was waiting for. I am of the opinion that stors should leek out part of their ads just to get customers pumped up and excited about shopping at thier store. ON the other hand, after seeing Wal-marts ad last year I had no interest in waisting any of my pressious early bird hours in Wal-Mart. Each year Wal-Mart moves further down to the bottom of my list of places to go on BF. Also love CompUSA - Last year Comp was a big dissappointment. Hopefully they will make up for it this year by having 512 desktop memory for 9.99
  13. OH, OK. We just opened the computer and physically checked. We do have one 512mb ram chip. I was wondering what happened to the other 128mb since it was only registering 384mb in the specs. Thanks for the info, 128 used by the video card makes sence.
  14. I'am going through Black Friday withdrawl I am already counting down and looking forward to next year. There should be more than one Black Friday per year. I wish there was one in May or June
  15. I got the 249.99 Toshiba laptop from Best Buy. Yesterday we were looking at the specs and saw that we only had 384mb of ram:eek: It was suppose to have 512mb:eyepoppin We think that instead of getting two 256 chips ours have one 256mb chip and one 128mb chip. If you were one of the lucky ones that got one of $249.99 Toshiba Laptops (L35-S2151), I suggest you check your specs to see if you were cheated out of memory too. I am going to call Best Buy and see what they are going to do about this:confused:
  16. I screamed and jumped for joy after reading this thread topic. Yeah!!! I will be in Myrtle Beach SC this Black Friday
  17. COMPUSA could have done better. I feel let down by their ad. I love buying computer upgrades and this year they failed me. two years ago they had 256mb pc RAM memory for 9.99 (after rebates) they also had a 60GB internal Hard Drive for $29.99 This year I was hoping to get 512mb for under $20 or 1gb Ram for under $30 however their idea of a door buster is 512m for $35 - What a disapointment The ad price for the video cards, dvd burner, and hard drives are the same as the price you can get them for in their regular sales during the year.
  18. I agree, I am also feel let down by COMPUSA. Last year I promised myself that I would not go to Best Buy this year because of the crowds and long lines. I'am going to have to break that promis because Best Buy has the best BF ad. Plus many of their items are instant savings which means you pay the advertised price at the register (LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT!!!!) I have never stood in line before the stores opened before but this year I am going to have to (hate hate hate that ) It looks like every Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane, Sue, Mary and all their friends and family are going to Best Buy which means I wanna be first in and first out of Best Buy == Me being in line on TG Night:mad:
  19. This year I will be at Myrtle Beach for Black Friday. I love COMPUSA and there is not one in that area. Does anyone know if I can buy the Door Buster Items online on the COMPUSA website? I know I can get the items online but I want to know if I will get the Door Buster Price if I buy online during the advertised hours.
  20. OH! thanks. Do they do Price matching on Black Friday ads for big ticket items like electronics (TV's, computers, ect.)?
  21. This is the first time I've heard about it. Can someone please tell me how price matching works?
