kamandjaw
Do any of you dress your family alike during Christmas. We have a couple of holiday parties to go to and was wondering if this looks dorky or not. I usually get my DD a dress and my DS a sweater and some khakis. I thought it would be neat for all of us to dress alike this year.
doublehsmom
What I have done in the past is we all wear khaki and then ds and dh wear the same shirt and dd and I wear the same one..
kamandjaw
That is a good idea. I wanted to get a jump on things since I'm the picky one in the family.

droolbug2
I usually dress the 3 boys somewhat alike. Usually a Polo shirt (they each get different colors) and khakis. Dh has dressed like them. I think it's cute. We are all going to dress somewhat alike when we get pics taken this year.
Rockfordmom
I did it for our pictures for our christmas card this year when we went on vacation to Vegas a couple of weeks ago. Khakis and a white polo, I packed everyones polos so that no one "forgot" theirs. We went out one night and took pictures all over Vegas. My 19 yr son and my hubby thought it was dorky and wore different shirts and then took off their shirts and put on their white polos for every picture (which I thought was dorkier than just wearing the shirt!) and then took them back off until the next picture. They wouldn't walk around with all 5 of us dressed identically. I thought it was cute! I told my husband that the next time that he wears that outfit that I was packing the kids khakis and polos and waiting until we got somewhere and then putting those clothes on them:sidesplit
ms_mckenna
We do it for Disney ... I think getting my family to agree to do it passed that would be pushing it. I may try for it this Christmas though.
jarerice
we dress up for all of the parties. but christmas day its all about comfort. i think it would be okay for the kids to dress alike, but not the grown ups.
lilac100
Nope getting my "goth" son to dress like the rest of the family would be too much stress.

stacya
I dress my sons the same, but dh would NEVER go for that! If he was dressed like the boys, that would be one thing, but for all FOUR of us to be dressed the same or similarly, no way! I'd be fine with it...when we had one ds, our first Christmas ds and I had VERY similar shirts that we had pics done in, and dh's was similar, too, but not quite the same shade of blue, and he thought I was NUTS!
