We asked our Pediatrician for some samples, and they were great at giving us a few every time. I posted on another thread here that I get samples from our Ped. most times we go. All you have to do is ask. That said, the Enfamil mailing list is a great way to go. I got HUGE coupons in the mail in the beginning. Then they began to taper off. I had my mom sign up too...at her house.
Mommy2Four
They'll send coupons for awhile. Asking your pediatrician is a really good way to go. You can also buy coupons off of ebay.
tokanm
Just FYI since nutramigen is a hypoallergenic formula many insurances will pay for it. Check with your pedi and ask them to write you a script and see if your ins co will cover it. Most do

love a deal
You also might try just calling Enfamil(1-800-BABY123)and asking them to send you a sample. I did this for a friend of mine that used that formula and they send me a box with 2 cans in it. Every little bit helps:) Also, ask your pediatrician for it. They get it by the case load! davephillyj
Also post on your local Freecycle.org group. I had a lady give me about 20 cans of powder and another lady give me over 60 cans of the concentrate liquid! Not able to get WIC I was very happy! They would not take money, but I sent them a family pizza deal that night.
landdaisy
My son used this formula for one year. It cost us a fortune! Our insurance did not pay for it and our coupons disappeared too. But, at the tale end of this thing I found out that you can actually buy the formula by the case on ebay. Way cheaper than at the store! My friend did this for her baby, it was still packaged, totally normal not expired and worked great! Also, check out www.kidswithfoodallergies.com. They have tips on formula on the site, some that are covered by insurance and some that are not.
aidansmommy
My son has a feeding tube and he uses Nestle Goodstart With DHA and ARA. Our home health company told me that if the formula was written on a prescription from the doctor's office, that our insurance would cover the cost (Cigna). We faxed a prescription and so far it has been 100% covered and the home health compnay ships it to our door. I don't know if they will pay for it once the tube is removed, or if they are only covering it since he has the tube, but it is worth calling and asking your insurance company! I was told by the social worker at our children's hospital that no insurance would cover the formula, but I checked and surprise! You never know until you ask! Good luck. supershopper1
My grandaughter was diagnosed with a milk allergy. She would not even have breast milk unless my daughter ate no dairy products or even dairy biproducts. Her doctor put her on a formula that was by presc. only. It had to be ordered. Insurance covered the cost, which would have been $35 a can.

Just Me
My son used this formula for one year. They have tips on formula on the site, some that are covered by insurance and some that are not.Be careful doing that. It is typically people who nurse but claim the need of formula and het on WIC and sell the formula on ebay. We had some people busted for that here not to long ago On a side note my Dr's office had coupons for it and samples of it they would give me when my son was on that liquid gold. Thats one place to start. Also I signed up for the checks. I also got all my friends and family close by to let me sign them up for the checks then they just gave them to me. I kept in checks pretty well that way lol. I even had my neighbor getting them. She doesn't have babies so she didn't care just gave the checks to me when they came.
