Publix Promise

In case anyone does not know about the "Publix Promise" - if an item scans at the register more than marked on the shelf or advertised, they will give you one of the items free.

 

I found out this morning when I ended up making an impulse purchase of a really nice golf umbrella that was marked $12.99, but rang up $14.99. I questioned it to the cashier and just wanted it rung up at $12.99, but she called a supervisor over and they told me I get it for free! YAY!!!

Yes, there are a few stores that do that ... heck, it even happened once for me at Walmart.
