vbamother Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I've only done the Rite Aide thing once and that was last week. I got the Crest ProHealth toothpaste, which was free after rebate, and some BOGO free Nature Made Vitamins (they had a rebate too, but I didn't know it at the time.) I applied for my rebate by going to Rite Aide's website and registering there, and entering the info from my receipt. Says they will mail me a check. Not nearly as fun as CVS's ECB's.
cr8on Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 thank you I am going to rite aide tomorrow morning (free is me)...
dkctoo Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 well, I do both Rite Aid & CVS and I think both are fun, just different, and you have to get the hang of them. The advantage, as I see it, of Rite Aid is that you get cash back that you can spend anywhere. My mom did the CVS thing, earned some ECB's and then got very frustrated trying to use them before they expired (one did expire but they extended it). She's not been so enthusiastic about ECBs since. Of course you have to factor into that the realities that she doesn't get around that well and the nearest CVS is about a half hour away, so she doesn't make a point to go that often. Anyway, I'm glad both programs exist. I've gotten awesome freebies from both stores this week. It's a great 2fer for me to be able to do both when I do travel the 1/2 hour (and a justification for doing so a little more often).
