  1. What brand is the sd card? What kind/size of free shutterfly book? That sounds cool!
  2. Does your rite-aid have a customer-use scanner? Haven't noticed that at mine, but can't say I've searched for it either. Sure is a nice feature at CVS.
  3. I think it's struggled for a while (less than ideal location, competition from walmart, etc.), but now I hear it's actually going to close.
  4. I don't think our Kroger got any of the really good stuff ya'll are talking about this year, but last time I was there (about a week ago - it's over 30 min. away) the decorations were 75% off but dishes (snowman) and the white bakeware was only 50%. Candy was priced as marked down. Didn't see anything interesting enough to even take note of the %.
  5. The last time I was in our local rite-aid, they had a little clearance Christmas, but they also had several boxed up containers labeled with various christmas mdse, so guess they were sending that back or something. Wonder how that all works.
  6. my dh is a disabled vietnam veteran. He is considered retired military. We have the id cards & everything. If you do, I'm sure you would qualify.
  7. FYI, while I was standing in line to check out, a staples guy told me about the furniture replacement plan. For $4.95, I bought 3 year replacement for my $49.99 chair. I think that's a great value. My chair is going to dd's dorm room. It will be the 3rd chair in 1.5 years. The first was from staples, the second (a cheapie bought by the one who broke #1) was not. If I'd had this policy on #1, I wouldn't have been buying #3 last Friday. :) (the one who broke #2 is helping pay, but still...) If the chair is going in a high/rough use area, check this out!
  8. They were advertising 50% off on their tv commercial this morning.
  9. Bestbuy got there at 3 a.m., 120th in line. Wanted the magellan 1212 but it was not in their paper. Passed on the several items that made it back to me... Staples my #1 priority and conveniently located beside bestbuy. When the bestbuy line got me to staples, I got off and was about 8th in line. tom tom 125 norton 2009 3 user office chair 8 gb cruzer target (conveniently located beside staples) DD has parttime job there, so her 10% discount made these deals sweeter :) 2 kodak digital frames several movies house season 2 magna doodle pro pink britas with free water bottle (clearance for $13.xx - new packaging brita alone was $31.xx) memorex dvd player much more stuff I can't recall walmart garmin nuvi 200 2 gb sd card bath & body works $5 wallflowers used 2 'free item up to $13' coupons lane bryant buy 1 get 1 (2 items) dd saw sign at checkout to text for discount and got me $10 discount! kmart joe boxer buy 1 get 1 robe & pajama pants socks joanns pasta machine doorbuster 15 $1 butterick patterns used 50% off coupon for magazine Big Lots 2 watches (a timex indiglo for $10!) movies stuff :)
  10. oh man, this is the one I originally wanted, but it was not in my local bestbuy ad The price is now $199. I'm holding onto a tomtom 125 and a garmin nuvi 200 (both for $99) still trying to decide between them, but wouldn't be beyond returning both of them if the right alternative deal came along...
  11. Well, a day late cost me $5 more bucks, but I'm still game to give it a try!
  12. I got Angels on Earth (3 year sub) for my mom last fall from this company. Everything worked great! Unbelieveable deal!
  13. Boy, stuff really flew out of that outlet. Yesterday, the website wouldn't let me put anything in my cart. Today everything I wanted is gone. WOW. Guess it's a good thing. My pocketbook thinks so, anyway.
  14. I think you can do that. Just remember, since it is clear, there is no way to show white.
  15. I've bought awesome books and cds there. Some of them still had walmart stickers on them showing much higher prices! Also, they usually have a good selection of sudoku books - often the same series you find at other stores. BUT, you do have to watch about other things as has already been pointed out... Some things cost $1 there that would cost $.69 or so at Walmart. I read once that walmart owns dollartree. Anyone know if that's true? They are always in the same shopping center complexes here in my area.
  16. Do they let you get the free stuff over and over or in one order only?
  17. I have the mary janes in this fuschia as well as black and brown. I LOVE them all! (got each of them from shoebuy with a 10 off 30 discount)
