drmad7 Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I have no idea! It was mentioned in today's Columbus Dispatch as opening along with the Walmart in Whitehall this week too!
christib327 Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 If anyone finds out please post :) I do a lot of my shopping in Dublin and new Wal-marts usually have great pop deals. Thanks!
sigrist_2000 Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 In todays Dispatch both stores will open FRIDAY!!!!! (no time given...but 8 am sounds good...)
wright1baby Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 There are also 2 Walmarts in Central KY opening on Friday One in Lexington (Hamburg) and One in Paris (Both are SuperCenters)
llist Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Hey... I track WM grand openings for my company and I just found the press release for these two in Ohio... GO ceremony at 7:30 am 1/19/07 with doors opening at 8:00 am.
dswright Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Another in KY in Harrodsburg. The Hamburg store in Lexington is nothing exciting. Went in for a few things this morning-Deans milk was 4.03 a gallon, store brand was 3.00. I'll stick to the Meijer stock up prices at 1.95 this week. Also noticed many produce items were rotten already-the store has only been opened 3 days???? Once was enough, I'll be back at Meijer in the future.
ButterBee Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I agree with dswright. Cincinnati's new super walmart was definitly nothing to write home about. Two days after they opened and the veggies looked horrible, service was poor and still is after 8 months. The prices are just not that good. There is a Meijer, a Kroger and a Biggs all within a 2 mile radius of this Walmart and they are beating the pants off of Walmart in terms of pricing. I stick with Meijer and Kroger, better deals and service most of the time.
