bigjimslade Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I just got the Dallas Morning News at my door and I noticed it was light compared to a regular Sunday. Does anyone else have this or is it a normal Sunday paper? The ads that did come in some of them are one day ads and some are ads that go thru the whole week.
lovelymissyoli Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Did you find any good deals in there? Compared to the actual Christmas Day paper, I wouldn't expect it to be too big! On Christmas Day the paper is overflowing with sale ads and such. I normally buy one paper and if there's a good coupon deal in there I'll buy another. One year, before Robinson's May became Macy's they hid free $10 bucks coupons all thoughout the paper (the ones where your minimum purchase could be $10). You can imagine how many Christmas Day newspapers I purchased!

DramaQueenLucy Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Mine in the Tulsa Metro Area is pretty light not what I had expected but I'm thinking that they will have more Christmas Day!
Martini3 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Mine was light too, hopefully the paper boy isn't hoarding them all!
elena_398 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Very light in my paper. Only a circuit city, best buy, walgreens, Kmart, area grocery store, and Rite aid circular. Expecting a tad more
Gator Pam Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I think the website that posts the coupon booklet schedules says there are no coupons scheduled for either this or next Sunday...
Melissa Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Very light in the Poughkeepsie Journal, hardly any ads.
preacherswife2 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I live in a small city in IN and the paper was VERY light, so I send my husband to buy the big city paper....not knowing that it was also VERY light. NO ONE in our area has a Christmas Day paper, so I guess I will be doing my looking on line for the ads this year! NO idea when these people think we are going to read the ads that they must be planing on putting into Tuesdays paper. Most of the great sales will be over by noon and our paper comes just about that time.
Guest koby Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 light in Baltimore, but WE all know the sales are out there
krissy904 Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Jacksonville FLorida - seemed like an average SATURDAY paper
