Illinoismom Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 In the beginning of Dec my very best friend said she would help me out by ordering my Daughters Santa present a Ballet Bar, I sent her the money and she was going to use her credit card. Now This friend has never and I mean mever let me down and has done so much that I would never doubt her so thats not the isssue. BUT Christmas is 5 day's away and the Bar isnt here, she said that she had it sent to her house by mistake and not to worry she would just order another one and send it here. ( By the way Money is not a problem for her) But I am worried or at least concerned, I dont want to be a nag with her but it is my daughters big present from Santa and I am worried Santa may not make it. It got here like 2 days before Christmas,lol. Do you have a tracking # that you can check? Checking it every hour usually keeps me calmer,lmao. I hope it works out for you!! I still have 3 packages in route to me one I paid for express shipping they sent it Priority mail yesterday when I called they said you will have it in 5 days (hello doesn't sound express to me).... I have two items on another order with express shipping but found out they will not ship till the 21st. And if they havent, I'd call the company to find out where they are. Friday is the last day to get regular shipments, so I'd be on the phone with someone. Good luck, I hope it all turns out well. cubbeegirl Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 I am praying for ya .... heck my son if 14 and although he knows how much things cost and of course has long stopped believing in santa, I still fret about making his Christmas be just right. I remember one year being in a similar situation as yours and his big gift did not arrive in Christmas Eve day, I was soooo worried. I would check into the tracking number of that item and maybe have your friend go ahead and express ship the one from her house to yours just in case. It has been sitting all alone on a loading dock, because TRU had our address wrong and wouldn't release our phone #. If I hadn't taken the initiative, and the tremendous long distance phone bill to call every place in the country, I wouldn't have found it. I would definitely look for a tracking #, and if your friend has never let you down, something is odd. If she has plenty of money, you would think she would feel bad enough to overnight ship it to you. Is it a free standing bar? Ours was mounted to the wall, and If I'm not mistaken, it was the same thing our stair rails were. a long round wooden pole, with brackets that held it up. I am positive you can buy something like that at Lowe's. Just an idea, I'm picturing Santa in a tool belt. One could probably be fashioned out of PVC Pipe also. I know when I could not find a number for netflix I googled netflix number and it came up a few inquiries in. Do like the idea of it would not fit in the sliegh.
