Melissa Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Everything is bought and wrapped, now there is nothing left to do but WAIT. It's nice to be prepared ahead of time, but I actually like having something to do!
shanni Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I got all my baking stuff today, wrapped some more gifts........and I'm still thinking hmmm what else what else.........
Jennifer0530 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Usually yes but not this year. I think it's becasue of the weather. We normally have snow on the ground but this year it's been higher temps with rain.

decafmom Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Well, right now I'm more antsy over everything NOT being done. I have never been this far behind, but then again, I've never had surgery a few weeks before Christmas. It will all work out though, so I'm trying not to panic.
heatherkw Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 DONE, you mean there are people that are actually DONE:no:
missyjane Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I'm done. I'm going to bake on Sunday, but I'm definitely ready for Christmas. I do want a change in the weather next week though. We've had unusually warmer temperatures and if it keeps up there isn't a possibility of a white christmas. I've got sweaters for all the holiday parties all picked out, I can't wear sweaters when it's 60 degrees outside so if someone could change the weather for me just for the week of Christmas I'd really appreciate it, otherwise yes, I'm antsy. (and trying really hard to not shop anymore because my kids are even )
3cuties4me Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I'm pretty much done! Have some baking to do... but I LOVE to bake! LOL! I absolutely CANNOT stand this wait! I'm ready for Christmas... NOW! I am so excited to see my childrens faces... and my dh's face (yes, he's such a big kid... teehee... I spoil him just like he's one of the kids...)! The only thing I don't like is when I go to town and I see all these people shopping and I don't have ANYTHING to buy! Of course, they are not getting NEARLY as awesome deals as we are ... teehee BUT - I LOVE to shop! Thanks to everyone who posted all those awesome amazon deals... I HAVE been shopping! BUT bdays are done for this year, Easter is done - and it's on to next CHRISTMAS (I already have at least 10 gifts bought for next Christmas... lol)! I'M SO EXCITED! Only 10 sleeps to go :) :) :) :) :) ~ Erin (SAHM to 3 cuties ages 3 and under)
mom_of2boyz Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I'm pretty much done, but I need to pick up one or two SMALL things for DS #2, and a couple things for my mom yet.
mom_of2boyz Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 And yes, I am starting to get a little antsy.
elena_398 Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I am completely done and just waiting till christmas day. Im excited for the kids. I love to watch them run down the stairs christmas morning. lol. I even already got the stockings stuffed and ready to go. Just going to bake next weekend
EmConMom Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I do get antsy, but this year, I"m not quite as ahead of the game as usual. For one, I bought more this year. I am less than halfway finished with my wrapping and I have some more baking to do. I have one gift to buy, 2 gift cards and some lottery tickets. However, I know what I want just have to go get it. I hope to finish up with wrapping, baking and shopping this weekend and then it is on to decide what to make for Christmas breakfast.
duckbrain Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 One or two more final gifts to get. (Maybe I'm waiting for the best deal on them!) Everythings wrapped so far just,.....waiting....so excited tho!
Kayakmom Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 No matter how "done" I am, I am never truly done until I fall into bed on Christmas eve, lol. I'm really naughty about that, so the past couple years I have deferred shopping until December. It's really not harder for me that way. I did get a few things on Black Friday, but other than that I started on December 4th when we returned from vacation. I have a few gift cards left to buy and stocking stuffers. I'm about 1/2 wrapped and I'm ok with that. I'm used to it by now.
lisamag Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 well i'm pretty much done i have to get for my boyfriend i know what i'm getting i just have to order it oh and i have to get for a few more teachers but my kids are done i'll be spending this week wrapping everything but thats it for me and yeah i'm always a little antsy lol.
motoXmom Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I am completely done and just waiting till christmas day. Im excited for the kids. I love to watch them run down the stairs christmas morning. lol. I even already got the stockings stuffed and ready to go. Just going to bake next weekendOh I BOW to you! Stockings Stuffed already, man you're good! I wish I was that far ahead of the game right now. I still have to run back to the mall to do some more shopping. I also want to hit the kitchen tomorrow and get baking.
Melissa Posted December 17, 2006 Author Posted December 17, 2006 I can't stuff the stockings yet. They're hanging up and it would look a little strange if they were suddenly filled -- after all, Santa hasn't even come yet!
droolbug2 Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Just about done with all of my shopping. Still have to get candy to fill the stockings and 1gc for my best friend. Just started wrapping last night so still have quite a bit left to do on that, but at least it will keep me busy this week! Im so excited! Can't wait for the kids to see everything! I would also like a change in the weather. It has been in the mid 70's here for the past week and it doesn't feel anything like Christmas!
