Has anyone used google checkout? If you have, have they charged your account yet? I made an online purchase on Dec 2nd and have received the merchandise (YEAH!), haven't been billed by google yet. Guess I shouldn't worry, but I'm used to things hitting my bank as soon as I swipe my card. THanks

My account was charged when item shipped.

I used my debit card through Google Checkout for Sierra Trading Post on Thanksgiving day. It showed on my checking account on 11/27 as CHECKCARD #### GOOGLE *Sierra Trading.google.com/etc. My package arrived on 12/4.

yep.... I ordered something the day after thanksgiving, received it the next week, but still no charge?? When I go to my google account it shows my ordered had been canceled........I don't know what to think??

I've seen this before when ordering online from various places. I don't think it has anything to do with Google. Maybe the store?

That's exactly what happened, I received an email from google stating purchase was cancelled - I'm sure they have to reconcile at some point though

I'll probably post this again on a separate thread, but G_C_ started crashing last nite, couldn't get my order through this morning too. (Is this in the makings repeat of the TRU fiasco a couple years back, where they then switched to Amazon to handle their web orders???)

 

+ok, several hours later, G_C_ just wasn't working from my neighbor's system. Hope that doesnt continue....
