  1. You put the words in place of the ***'s. Don't keep the stars in there.
  2. We bought ours at the appliance store in our little small town. Pretty much a mom and pop store. We have bought every appliance there so they always work a deal with us. I think we ended up paying $1299 for the set and then received $75 from whirlpool for a rebate and another $50 rebate from our electric company. It was a big investment for us but really is already paying us back in the water savings every month. $25 per month savings for the last 5 months is already $125. Make sure you check around for rebates from Whirlpool and give your electric company a call. Many offer rebates on the high efficiency models.
  3. In October 2006 I got the Whirlpool Cabrio set. I love it. I was thinking about the Duet but decided against it since it was the front load. Several people that I knew that did a lot of laundry weren't impressed with them because if you have a problem, they lock up, water, laundry and all. You can not open them without a service technician. So for one of my friends her sons singlet was in there and he had a meet that night. Bad, bad situation for her. So I went with the Cabrio, it's high efficiency, can do a ton of laundry, no agitator, high spin speed, tons of options and best of all...saves me $25 a month on water. I have 4 kids so we do a lot of laundry here. I have cut it down to only 6 loads per week, not including sheets. I love it!
  4. I was at my Target yesterday and got 2 rolls of silver wrapping paper for .74 each. Just like you all have posted, the red sticker said 2.08 so I'm sure that why those rolls were left. I also got 4 pkgs. of pens for .24 each. That was about all they had. It was all in just one aisle. Last week they had all the paper clips/office supplies on clearance but not low enough for me. I looked this week and the aisles were back to regular prices. UGH! I did get some oreos, Swiss cake rolls, shredded cheese, keebler cookies, and my super duper deal...lunchables for .50 each after 1.00 target coupon. I was so excited. My 7 yr old takes a cold lunch almost everyday so these will be a great change for him. Oh...another thing...sometimes the cashier really has to try hard to get my coupons to scan (8 yr. old printer) but this time when it didn't scan right away he just counted up the total dollar amount and pushed it in as one coupon. Woo hoo! Much easier and faster. Sometimes mine scan no problem and other times they don't. Sometimes I will have several identical ones that were printed on the same piece of paper, some will scan and some won't.
  5. Have any of you tried getting a rain check for the Diet Coke that's out at your Target stores? Just wondering because several have posted that they are out of a certain flavor. They should rain check them, they are in the ad, and then you can get them when there is not a rush and still use the coupon.
  6. I was at my Target yesterday. Our does not have the Tide or Downy 50% off. Either they never clearanced it or I missed it all together. No laundry detergent was clearanced. I scanned it and everything. So disappointed. LOL However, I did find several scents of Secret deodorant on clearance for .98 up to 1.77. Also the Secret body spray was 1.77. I picked up 2 of those as I had $1.00 off each coupons. Along with the Secret was Lady Speed stick and some men's right guard. There were hardly any clearance toys. I really wanted to find one of the FP3 players but there wasn't anything to be had. I did get the Coke for $1.50 per 12 pk. Several packages of nutty bars and swiss cake rolls. A few bottles of Mott's apple juice. Several bags of Cheetos for .75 after coupons. No MM juice boxes, no peanut butter or ice cream toppings that were previously posted.
  7. On printing the coupons at the Target store on the kiosk...can you only print the ones listed on the Target web page down at the bottom or the ones from the generator too? Also where do they print from? The bridal registry thing? Someone else asked this but I don't think there was a response...how do you look up the dcpi # on the price checker machines?
  8. I FINALLY scored some of the Minute maid juice boxes yesterday. I happened to have been at a regular Target (not Super), after digging to the back I found 4 packages that rang up 69 cents. Here are my bargains... 4 minute maid juice 69 cents each 8 goldfish crackers 33 cents each 4 mott's apple juice 50 cents each 6 boxes of nutty bars for 59 cents each 2 boxes swiss cake rolls for 66 cents each Free 2 liter of Diet pepsi jazz Not a bad day. I was so stinkin' excited to have finally scored some mm juices. LOL Question on the expired coupons...the cashier guy had to manually put them in and when he typed in the numbers they beeped at him and he looked at them funny and then just overrided them. So when you use the expired ones do they scan like the "good" ones or do they beep because they are expired? My cashier was really nice and didn't give me heck for using that many coupons.
  9. I can't believe that the Target employees feel this way towards couponers. I usually don't have problems with my coupons however, sometimes the cashiers say "where did you get these, I need some of these too!" These employees act like it's their 55 cents we are taking for the coupons. Come on...Target gets paid by the manufacturers for the manufacturer's coupons. Target.com puts out the online coupons for a reason...TO BE USED!!! It does upset me that the employees act like my coupon savings are coming out of their paychecks. I think not!
  10. I would love one! My boys love top draw and use my printer paper like crazy! My zip code is 50421 to my house. Thanks!!!
  11. I'm curious about the apple juice too. Is it specially marked or something?
  12. Not so clever, but you could do the gift, inside of a gift, inside of a gift thing, gradually getting bigger boxes.
  13. The check out person will have to call a CSM over to stick their key in but if it's an identical item it is no problem.
  14. Wal-mart will price match anything I swear, especially if the ad is a current one.
