Best Buy online returns with no receipt..

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone!!

On Black Friday, I bought the Entourage Season 2 DVD set online... Well, Come to find out, I nolonger need it as a gift for someone because it was already purchased by someone else..

I already threw away the receipt that came with the order, but do you think it's possible to return it in-store anyway, without the price stickers that usually come with the in-store merchandise??

I'm kind of scared, because I know when I walk in the store, the thingies will beep because online purchases don't get the security tags de-magnetized, and I don't want them thinking I stole it because I don't have a receipt.. Any advice would be great!:yup:

i dont think you will be able toreturn it..and if you did you might only get money back fromt he lowest price in so much time..so u might actually get less than what you paid. But then you might not get any cash back but store credit...

maybe call the store to see what to do?

Well right now it's retailing for $34, but I paid $20 on BF, and I'm thinking thats the lowest it's ever been..

But I guess I will call tonight.. Thanks

Did you try to log into your account on their site and see your previous orders? I've never ordered from them, so I don't know how their site works, but I'd look into that. Maybe there will be something you can print, or maybe with the order number, they can look it up at the store.

You can log into Bestbuy.com and view all of your orders. I had to return an online order and customer service said they don't take returns for online orders. I looked at her and said - gee that's funny cause this receipt that they sent me says I can return it to my local Best buy. lol

Once you have viewed your order you can print the invoice and return it to the store with that.
