lcx Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Wow! Thats certainly an excellent deal. I just got a 1GB Kingston DataTraveller2 for $23 so I have no need for this. Kingston DataTraveller is of much much better quality than most other drives in the market. (Sony has the best). Stay away from sandisk, microcenter and other cheapo usb drives. They may have higher capacity but don't have the performance and life as Kingston drives have.
Big Smooth Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I have this drive. I've had a few recurring problems getting it to connect to my work laptop which have forced me to uninstall/reinstall my USB controllers in the Device Manager (probably not the drive's fault; it works perfectly with my personal laptop and desktop), but it's a nice drive overall, with good build quality & transfer speeds for the price.
Scott Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Definitely a great deal for 2GB of portable storage!
emokromero Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Do you have to apply for the rebate by Dec. 10? Sorry, I am just new at this and want to make sure I am going to get the rebate.
ucablca Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 From looking at the rebate form, you have to purchase the item between Dec 4-9 and send in for the rebate within 30 days of the purchase.
ariosto1 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I ordered this a couple of days ago and still says sent to warehouse . Is this usual for them to take this long about 4 days and not even shipped:eyepoppin
linda050103 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 It said it can take 1-2 weeks to ship. Also, for some reason my total ends up 12.99??? hmmm
