bayhaysay
My daughter is 11 and is a HUGE reader. These are her recommendations. the Harry Potter series Series of Unfortunate Events Hank Zipzer Little Women Little House on the Prarie series The Custodian's Son almost any of Beverly Cleary's books (geared for that age) The Shadow Children (these are not funny but she says they are really good books) Tuck Everlasting Rascal (by Sterling North) Animal Ark (series) That's all she can think of for now. She said she'll have more ideas tomorrow, lol. The Hardy Boys Babysitter's Club
Great Dane Mom
My 11 year old recommends Walk Two Moons City of Ember Stargirl Hoot Flush Pleasing the Ghost Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism These are not funny, but age appropriate (with the exception of Pleasing the Ghost; geared for younger readers). Personally, I loved Stargirl! We read this together. Great message!
