brynnfromtheblock Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Anyone have any ideas what Gameboy Games would be good for a 5yr old girl? I bought Disney Princesses simply because, well it's a Princess!!! Are there anyones out there that she would enjoy? And who has good prices?
motoXmom Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 I think she may also like the Mario ones, they do have those for GB don't they!? Maybe one of the more basic Marios. Not sure I wish I could help you more!
n13n13 Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Hamtaro games are a hit with my 6 (almost) 7 year old daughter. She will play the games boys play too - like pokemon, pac-man, and whatever else she can get her hands on. Nikki
elena_398 Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 any of the mario games. They have all the older arcade style games too (pac man, asteroids etc), also Dora the Explorer, and any of the Nick cartoon games. My daughter has the powerpuff girls, Ed Ed & Eddy, and Fairly Odd Parents. For a 5 yr old girl I would stick with the cartoon games. Easier for them too.
starshine Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 I know Kmart had Dora the Explorer one on Thanksgiving. IF there is a KM near you they might still have them for 7.99
geekgirldany Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 My niece has the Kim Possible game... I think that is the name of it. She is 7
brynnfromtheblock Posted December 1, 2004 Author Posted December 1, 2004 Thanks, I'll be on the lookout for these, what stores are the cheapest?
geekgirldany Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Do you have a Rhino Video GAmes nearby. You might could find some used games there.
summersfam4 Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 My 5 year old daughter has Mario Kart (for gamboy sp or advance) Disney Princess, Dora the Explorer, Barbie Horse Adventures, Piglet's Big Movie Game, Monster's Inc (she doesn't really like) and one other that I can't remember. She likes the Incredibles, Kirby, Harry Potter (we have on GC). She loves all of the Disney games, racing games, and games that have special things for the player to do ie. misc items for use in Mario Kart making it more exciting and different everytime! Happy Searching there are lots out there. We get alot of ours at EB Games (which you can also access online and buy used online), and Gamestop which does the same thing.

jadedmomof2 Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Nintendo has also started releasing Gameboy Video. There is a Strawberry Shortcake one, as well as many Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network shows.
