Help! Present idea for BIL

I have no idea what to get him this year. Any ideas would be helpful. He isn't married, never eats at home, doesn't shop, likes nascar and works all the time. he's a mechanic. Please help!!! I asked him what he wanted and he said - I don't know - but you always get me great gifts! uhh - a little help would be SOOOOOO appreciated!

Someone posted the idea the other day of a wallet with gift cards in it. You could do different restaurants since he does not eat at home.

I think MandaJo111 had a great suggestion. That would be perfect for a single guy. Maybe along with restaurant gift cards you could do one or two to a couple local automotive shops since he's a mechanic.

Well, since he's into nascar.. does he have a lot of stuff relating to that already?

Maybe something with his favorite driver on it... Blanket, T-shirts, car mats, etc.

Try Nascar.com for ideas.. then go search the web for a better price.

Does he drink? Someone gave an idea on another thread about doing a basket of little bottles of liquor/beer.

Okay, don't laugh at this idea. You said he was a mechanic which usually means his hands are a MESS. Give him some Hemp Hand Protector from The Body Shop. It is a waterproof hand lotion. I worked for The Body Shop and we would also get guys that would come in and be amazed how this worked on their hands. The fragance is natural, so it's not feminine - which is important! It's probably about $12.00 a tube, but that tube lasts several months as you only use about the size of a dime twice a day.

The "ex" was a mechanic. He bought tools from Sears (Craftsman) and from the Snap-On truck that came to the shop. So, how about a gift card to either of those ?

I know you said he doesn't eat at home...but maybe if he had something like a small George Foreman grill he could make himself something fast (and they are awesome).

Then just get a cheap wallet at dollar tree. To have something to put the GC's in. If you got a nice wallet it would eat your budget up.
