Adamtanderson Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Walmart will price local competitors. How close is considered local. I want to price match an item from Circuit City but the closest one is 60 miles away. Is 60 miles local?
daworths8 Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 You would have to call your local WalMart to find out. I called mine already just to ask, all we have is WalMart here, Kmart is in next closest town about 15 miles away, closest area with Target and TRU is about an hour away. They told me they would with that distance.
sigrist_2000 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 i usually go by my rule of thumb...if it aint in the town..then no...i.e.Columbus will price match all in franklin county (all those cities there...)...i would not expect them to price match goody's in marion...but thats my opinion ... call your walmart and asked...and get name of who you talked to if they agreed so they can confirm?...
daz Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 You'd have to look at a map of nebraska to see it, but basically 50-60 miles, I just asked when I saw Nebraska furniture mart had a really cheap camcorder last weekend
tlm2121 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I just called my local walmart in central pa and they said they would pm the bb and target stores 40 miles away which is an improvement b/c last year they would not:D
elena_398 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Im in the same boat. I would like to price match an item from KB Toys, but my mall store one closed. The closest is 40+ miles away. All my Walmart said is that to price match they need a physical ad. I seriously doubt I will get a KB Toy one since its so far away.
