MarkRaby Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I brought this up last year (when I had my massive amount of BB Bucks), and thought I'd ask again for this year. For the stores that you'll be going to (or might be going to) on Black Friday, how much do you have available to spend that won't affect your bank accounts? For me, I have Best Buy- $30 in Reward Zone certificates CVS- $5 in ExtraBucks EB Games- ~$25 in store credit Sears- $10 gift card (plus another $10 if I happen to choose to go to that store first & am one of the first 200)
lssj_joshua Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I have: Best Buy $85 in reward zone certificates and gift cards ( i will have to pay attention to the monopoly game next year ) Target $103 in gift cards cant wait to spend em

artie852 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Hey guys watch it with those gift cards. Some have an expiration date and some deduct $2 each month if not used within a six month period. Give mney instead lol
The End Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Here in Massachusetts, by state law, Gift Cards never expire. I bought my Mom a GC for Lowes 3 years ago (so she could buy some paint to paint her Apt) and she still hasn’t gotten around to using it. There's no rush though because she can use it whenever she wants.
MarkRaby Posted November 12, 2006 Author Posted November 12, 2006 Here in Massachusetts, by state law, Gift Cards never expire. California and Nevada also have the same law, and I believe a handful of other states as well. This has led to almost all of the big-name stores to just get rid of the "no-activity" fees on their gift cards, so it's not something that most people need to worry about.
peachysquirt21 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 $50 GC for Walmart I got my gc from My Points within days of ordering. I couldnt beleive it came so fast.
rbidi21 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 $200 GC for Circuit City :) Wish I could turn these into cash cause BestBuy looks to have a few things I want.
Gurnee Al Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Right now I have about $900 for BB. Combination of BBBs, Gifts Cards, and RewardZone certificates. As it stands now, I won't be using them on BF as I don't see the 37 to 40 inch HDTVs that I'm looking for on sale.
BrandyJervas Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 sadly none right now but I'm hoping for $30 for target before BF

mitchandalisha Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I had a surprise 30th birthday party last night for my husband and he got over $400 in gift cards to random stores. I have been saving up gift cards all year and I have over $500 in gift cards to random stores. I think we have a gift card for just about every store there is around us! We are going to go and use some of them today and whatever we don't want we are going to use for Christmas gifts I guess. Christmas might be cheaper than we thought!
