ikyoung Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I am looking to get a couple of sheet sets but I want the highest thread count for the best value. I hear Gordman's has them at a good price but I haven't been able to get by there yet. Is $70 for 450 thread count a good deal?
nick_jenni_jocelyn Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Amazon.com has a 1,200 thread count queen sheet set on sale for $70 and it qualifies for free shipping. I am eyeing these up because my dh loves soft sheets. here is the link http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000FOUNEY/ref=ord_cart_shr/103-2585447-0863018?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance
Mommy2Four Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I saw some 900 thread count at TJMaxx (B&M) for 35.00 (Clearence but the had a lot) Might be worth checking out.

ikyoung Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 Wow Thank you...I am looking into all of your suggestions! I am very very excited...
alexei23 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 My grandmother used to buy us expensive thread count sheets. She told me last year that once you go past 400 it's not worth it. The higher the thread count the more cotton in them. The more the cotton the harder they are to get the wrinkles out. If you get a good blend of polyester and cotton they look better. Don't get me wrong it's not just about looks, they feel good too!
elena_398 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Target on BF will have 400 count sheet thread for $9.99 . Thats a great deal
