  1. Just went to CC.com and totally surprised that they aren't completely closed! You never know what this is going to do to the competition. http://http://www.circuitcity.com/sectors/opt-outv2.asp http://www.circuitcity.com/
  2. I went to victoria secret yesterday and got such great deals that I had to go back today and get some more things. I was not aware that they also offered this sale online, until I read this thread, so I went to the site and was not impressed. The items cost alot more online than they do in the store. All the bras in the store cost $15.99-$19.99. That is not the price they are going for online.
  3. It worked for me thank you. I ordered the CONAIR Nail Care Center and a PSP car adapter. Subtotal $44.76 Shipping $14.98 Discount ($29.88) Total $29.86
  4. Thanks a lot. I thought Thanksgiving was going to have to be canceled without my Honeybaked ham.
  5. Target said they would price match Walmart this year. Best Buy usually price matches and will beat the price by 10%. It has to be in the store and nothing on clearance or any other special. Circuit City also price matches.
  6. I bought several online on eBay. Just make sure you're comfortable with it. I don't like the ones that have batteries in them. I hate charging mine, but it's a lot lighter on my ear.
  7. I want a GPS receiver for my SUV with a 7" screen that plays MP3s and DVDs. I'm always getting lost and having to call someone (i.e. my best friend or my dad) to get on mapquest and help me. The one I want is like $1,600 so I'm thinking I'll settle on and external lite-scribe DVD burner or a smaller less expensive GPS receiver for now. I already got my engraved Aaliyah dog tag, t-shirts, sweatshirt, and 2007 calender!
  8. We usually map out what we want most, go to that store, and continue until we've stopped at every store that we thought had a sale. Last year we hit WM, CC, 2 different BB, EB Games, GameStop, Sport's Authority, Menards, & KM. I though I was going to get to go back to sleep and I had to help put up decorations. This year I split the team up and we're all hitting different stores. I only wanted to stop at OfficeMax, Kohl's, Target, maybe Sears, Best Buy, and K-Mart. We'll see as the real ads come out.
  9. WM does though. I would check with your store and find out for sure. It would really suck to hear that they do from someone and then your store say they don't.
  10. If I were you or your wife I would contact someone at a corporate level too via phone or internet and explain the situation. Even if you could consider throwing an ad at someone assault, the employee insulted her first. Not that it should dismiss her actions but it was immorally/unethically wrong. She mentioned their obvious bad customer service in no way does that warrant an insult to her parenting. The employee was just lazy and probably has no manners. I would make sure that he/she apologized in front of my family or was fired. There is not compensation for your wife's feelings or your child witnessing that type of display. I used to work at Target and I know they can look up a lot of things, but most of them choose not to. When you mail expensive/important packages don't you get a tracking number for them? Do you think that they would put millions of dollars of merchandise on a truck and send it across the country without tracking the items on it? They have to receive the merchandise in and account for it. They know what they're getting, they may not know the details of the shipping manifest but they can find out when they really want to. Trust me I've seen it done.
  11. I could be wrong but I thought a fiber optic tree is simply the type of lighting and pre-lit just meant that the lights were already assembled. From what I can tell it's all a pain in the butt. Either way you're fluffy the pre-lit tree (which is defiantly not lighter, or you're putting up lights, etc. on a tree. ...Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm but every year I have to drag my grandmother's decorations down from the attic above the garage in AZ and let me tell you it doesn't get any easier each year. Although she was looking at a 12" tree. He he he!
  12. I would check eBay. You may even get an adult owned system with very light use. Look for key works like "like new" condition. Then you may save some money and get a few games with it.
  13. I know the WM and CC also price match. I bought some items last year at WM on BF and the cashier adjusted the price w/out a manager's approval. Will you match someone else's price? Best Buy has both in-store and online price matching policies. These policies vary from each other. Please see details below. Online prices and selection generally match those in our stores, but may vary. Prices and offers are subject to change. Store Price Guarantee Two more great reasons to buy with confidence. If you're about to buy and discover a lower price than ours, let us know and we'll match that price on the spot. Already bought? We'll refund you the price difference, plus an additional 10% of that difference — up to 30 days after your purchase (14 days on desktop computers, notebooks, projectors, monitors, printers, camcorders, digital cameras and radar detectors). In either case, simply bring in proof of the price on the same available brand and model, from a local retail competitor. Exclusions apply. Recycled Gifts?

Every year people get gifts that they don't want or would never use. I am just curious am I the only one that recycles gifts? ...My mom and I have come up with a little system. We get gifts (individually) that we know we don't like put a post-it on it that says who gave it to us. Then we re-wrap it and give it away as a last minute gift to someone we don't like or save it for the next year. At first, it was hard to do but then I realized how much money I wasted every year throwing these horrible gifts away or buying something even worse to give to someone.
  15. My grandmother used to buy us expensive thread count sheets. She told me last year that once you go past 400 it's not worth it. The higher the thread count the more cotton in them. The more the cotton the harder they are to get the wrinkles out. If you get a good blend of polyester and cotton they look better. Don't get me wrong it's not just about looks, they feel good too!
