ncgirl27 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Did I read this right.. sandisk 1GB SD memory card $2.99 and then with a rebate?? I was excited to see it at Walmart for 13.97 or something.. is there a difference in the 2?:confused
Mike Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 The one at walmart may be a different brand. This one is a sandisk.
crix101 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Isnt it 2.99 AFTER rebate? I think so. Not for sure.

crix101 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Wow! you have some good eyes. I was just staring at it and I couldnt tell what it said. Still a great deal. I just got the 1gb sd card from buy.com for 2.95 after mail in rebate the day before yesterday. I dont think Circuit City is known for their reliable rebates so I would be a little leary of depending on them.
nordkin Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I dont think Circuit City is known for their reliable rebates so I would be a little leary of depending on them.I have never has a problem with a Circuit City rebate. Best Buy is a different story!
kaykwilts Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Do you think those SD 1 GB cards will go fast? We plan on hitting another store first so may not be there until an hour or so after CC opens.
Mike Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Do you think those SD 1 GB cards will go fast? We plan on hitting another store first so may not be there until an hour or so after CC opens.I think they will go fairly fast. Kind of depends on your area if there will still be a few available at 6am.
happyrat Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Buy it online on Thursday and select pickup in store. It will be waiting when you get there. I have done it on several items. I think you can even pay online, so you just pick it up and leave.
RossMAN Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Do you think those SD 1 GB cards will go fast? We plan on hitting another store first so may not be there until an hour or so after CC opens.I have experience with buying SD media from CC on BF. Of course this varies by location. My experience was they sold out within 1-2 hours which is probably accurate for most locations. So you won't have to get in line at midnight but I would consider getting in line around 4AM. Once you get in, head straight to the digital camera department then checkout.
BabyFu18 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 It's such a good deal I just can't decide if I want to mess with all the rebates or not...
Bunniq Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 It's such a good deal I just can't decide if I want to mess with all the rebates or not...I feel the same way. The deal breaker will be the BB gift card I have. I might get theirs and just use my GC. Still thinking.
andy125xx Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Office Max will also have the 1 gb for $2.99. so if u are afraid of it running out at CC then have someone else go to office max.
danderson101 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I went ahead and bought a 1 gig sd card yesterday for $60. They told me there was no problem in returning the card (unopened) along w/ receipt some time at my leisure on bf. They'll give me the lower price at that time ($3 after rebates). This way I know I've got one and I don't have to be waiting in line at 4am. I did the same thing last year at compusa for an external hard drive- no problems at all.
Jasonlh1 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Office Max will also have the 1 gb for $2.99. so if u are afraid of it running out at CC then have someone else go to office max. I believe the price for the SD card is $12.99 at Office Max
SuperMommy Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I will definately be getting a couple of them!! CC is always our first stop. We usually get in line around 3am. BTW, I've done about $200 worth of rebates every year for the past 4 years from Circuit City. I have NEVER had a problem with any of them.
he8765 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Their rebates are good, as long as you don't use a coupon or do a price match. Then they would be likely to not honor the rebate.
elena_398 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I was in Circuit City yesterday buying the 50 pack of DVD+R deal posted yesterday. Anyway, mine has the Sandisk memory cards in 4 different bins all through the middle of the store. Same one on BF. Guess they are ready to go. lol
ayres602 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 so you are telling me if I place an order for the sd memory card online Thurday for p/u at store on Friday I will get it for the $2.99:rolleyes: This really seems like cheating the system:razz: But I do recall the ad saying something about most item avail online Thursday, was not sure if the meant for the BF price or not:confused:
