You don't necessarily need that much but increasing it makes a noticeable difference in speed especially when more than 1 program is open. If you are going to upgrade the memory be aware that depending on the computers with 512MB of memory you might not be able to just buy a 512MB upgrade to get 1GB of ram. The last Toshiba I had had a free memory slot so buying 512MB of ram did upgrade it to 1GB of ram, but the HP I use at work was configured with 2 256MB DIMMs so a 512MB upgrade only ended up with 768MB of ram because I had to remove 1 of the 256MB DIMMs. Because Best Buy's in a HP if you are going to upgrade the memory I would get a 1GB DIMM. You can get these online for about $100. If it is more in the stores I would wait and order it online.

houseof5 Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 I called BB 1-800 number and specifically asked if I were to buy a laptop this week and then it went on sale for Black Friday for a door buster if I could come back and get a price adjustment and they told me YES. As long as it's within the 14 day period of adjustments as long as there was not a manufacturers coupon. Also is the one that is going on sale original price $749.99 or $649.99. Using the link it looks like is 649.99. Just checking to see if i can pick one up before then.

AND print a label DIRECTLY onto the disc. You have to buy special lightscribe compatible discs though.

Because when i went last year a week before to see the camera, they didn't have any out. The dude was playing stupid saying i don't think we have them in, and not to sure if they will be here by BF:rolleyes: . So im thinking all the BF model #'s on everything will be different then what they have now so they can't pricematch.
