My husband remembered that he had a "Mr. Heater" popane heater from last years ice storm. They sell them at Walmart and right on the back it says they are safe for tents. Looks like we girls will be warm this year!

As hard as it may be to believe, there are still a few RAM fans in Springfield MO this year!!! The Best Buy in Springfield can get a lot of people in line...how about the ones in St. Louis. What area is the best to shop in in St. Louis? We still haven't decided what time to get in line yet. We were in last year around 4 and were able to get everything we wanted. What time will you get in line?

Sorry, I'm a computer dummy. I think I know that RAM is memory storage, but I don't know which product needs to be bought to add more to this e machine. Is it the SATA internal hard drive or is there a simplier way. Will it be hard to add it?

I know this isn't a "game" computer, but it is all my sister can afford for her grandchildren. The grandson is just starting to get interested in playing computer games. What should she buy to make it work for some of the less intensive games?

I am a price match dummy. How does it work when you buy things in advance? Do you just take your receit to customer service or what? Do you ever have any problems?

Suppose to be 20 here during the wee hours of Black Friday! Glad I bought that tent at Target for 75% off. What kind of heater can I use safely in a tent?? My daughter, daughter-in-law and I plan out our Black Friday adventure with the same zest our male love ones plan out their deer hunting trips. We read and re-read Gottadeal for all the best advise. While we are waiting the hours away we re-hash our plans. We always have a great time in the Black Friday lines at Best Buy. To me it is like a big tail gate party without all the booze! Everyone makes friends, shares food, and plays word games. I always try to have extra ads to share. They are passed up and down the lines, but they always get returned. It is amazing how many people will show up without knowing what is on sale!

I have used them repeatedly at Kmart, Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us with few problems. Even after donating to Kids for Tots, I still need another closet to put them all in. Saving them for my granddaughter that is a little young to play with them yet.

I had been "gifted" with an extra desk top computer ticket in 2005. I was told they had to be picked up by 11 A. M. I picked up the first one right at opening and then went to Walmart. I came back from Walmart about 9 A.M. to find long, long lines to get to customer service where the computers were. When I got almost to the front they were checking your tickets and low and behold mine was not available, even though it was before 11. A.M. Long story short, they offered me a better computer for the same price ($150.00). When I got home I found mention of a rebate ticket on the model that they had subsituted for $50 off. I ended up getting the desk top for only $100!!!! Thanks to Gottadeal!!

I have never heard of cruise lines offering a sale on Black Friday, but it may happen. You may have better luck posting your question on a message board such as cruise critics or others that specialize in cruise vacations.

Best Buy had a seperate sale that I printed off of the internet for BF last year. It came out sort of last minute. I remember a laptop for $250; a camera; a camcorder, and the large tv...can't remember the prices. All of the items were really good bargins. Any one have a copy of that?

I have had great experiences at Best Buy the last three years on Black Friday. We are usually about number 30-40 in line. After the tickets for the door busters are given out at my store several personal Shopping Assistants come out and ask if you would like to use them. They write down any & everything you want if it is on the sale bill and they take your door buster tickets. Then they go inside and fill up a cart or flat bed cart with all your loot. Right before the doors open they let the customers with PA's in the store. Every year I have been able to be out of the store by 5:15. They even had someone help me load the 32" Westy TV last year!!

I would ask DS to question DFDIL on what she would really like. Dishes last a very long time and if you wanted solid and got floral you would be looking at them at every meal and thinking about what you really wanted. I am 56 and I like the solid purple. Much more modern and you could add so many colors to your table setting/decor if you wanted too to make it look different.

If I am lucky and can get the LT at BB on BF, what is the best deal on RAM? I don't understand anything about it. Is it a memory stick or a card like I put in my camera? What one should I buy to go with it. I'd also like a wireless mouse. Any suggestions on a good buy that will work on BB's laptop?

I have all but one rebate back now and it has been approved. I have to brag about one of my BF bargins that only happened because of this board. My daughter and I waited all night in the Best Buy line for the $150. computer among other things. We needed three of the computers, and was disappointed that my husband had become ill and wasn't able to stand in line with us. The rules were one computer per customer. It was our FIRST BF and we were very disappointed to see people being added to groups in front of us. We were afraid we wouldn't be able to get any of the bargins. When they came through with the computer coupons a super nice man in front of us gave us his coupon. It was so nice of him! We were able to get every thing we wanted (but no lap top) and was pulling out of the parking lot by 5:15. We went back about 9 to get the third computer. They didn't have it!! They were all sold out and picked up! They offered me a much better computer at the same price!! Of course that made me very happy! Over the next few days I was reading on the forum and found out that there was a rebate of $50 on the model of computer that they sold me. At first I was afraid to send it in because they had marked on the ticket that it was a replacement for the the advertised one. Sure glad I did mail it though, cause I ended up with an even better computer for only $100!! (Needless to say, that's the one I kept for us!).
