I stocked up the last time the top sirloins were on sale. These are a nice small size for the kids and happen to be what George is eating now. Personally, I prefer a big 'ol T-bone or Porterhouse.

That's definitely one thing I miss from living in Indiana! People thought I was nuts asking in Virginia and here where the meat lockers are to order a side of beef.

They are kind of small but pretty good. I probably would not purchase them unless there was some fantastic sale going on, just because I can find bigger cuts usually for less at my local grocer(not WM).

I grew up eating steaks, and I have the hips to show it! My dad raises the beef so that helps with all the mad cow stuff going around. The disadvantage is I remember the time when he tried butchering his own cow one time and the whole thing was in our kitchen! My mother was a saint to allow that!!!
