stationchief Posted November 1, 2006 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Well, after enjoying our friend's demonstration on the PS2 system and playing that 'Guitar Hero' game, the wife now wants a PS2. Probably for 'Guitar Hero 2' and so her and her friend can trade/swap games. I do admit, I'd like to try some of those PS2 games myself. So the WM store has the slim PS2 system on sale everyday for $129. Any thoughts as to how much it's gonna be for BF? It's nice, but the fact that they'd release a "new" system so late in the game makes me think they want to squeeze the 129 price tag as much as they can before the PS3 launch. And with Sony's MAJOR losses because of the PS3 i don't think theyll drop the PS2 to 99. And with the release of GH2 AND FINAL FANTASY XII they know there might be more PS2 shoppers out there.
