ellen zachariia Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I was at my local superwal-mart and they had a huge display in the middle of he aisle of assorted DVD's for $4.88. Older movies but good titles just the same. I was wondering if they put them out a little early or if they might me even cheaper on BF
tyler99199 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I believe it is just regular stuff. Our local Wal-Mart has the same thing. The BF DVD's , if any, will be of recent titles at a low price.

jellybean051901 Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 They add new titles every so often. The 3.44 DVDS from last year were in the one by my house. The 4.88 bin is my dad's favorite place to shop at walmart.
jellybean051901 Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I have bought MAjor League 2 and 3, Barney, Care Bears, To Wong Foo, Lethal Weapon, pitcher and the pin up, among others. You really have to check them out regularly to see what they have
peachysquirt21 Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I hate those bins. So hard rooting thru em to find anything & then alot of the cases get damaged cause of them being in a bin like that. Too bad they cannot have them displayed better.

ellen zachariia Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 These where not in bins but in a huge display all nice and neat in the middle of the store. They still had the bins by electronics but those movies where %5.50 not 4.88 like in the display. The display was nice and neat and easy to read titles.
madnmas Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Tthese are all the worst movies. ANywhere from Rocky X to Back to the Future XX.
pmward725 Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 My Wal-mart has these year-round. Old, cheesey movies, usually. The current releases will blitz on BF here, like they have the past few years.
vetmac Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Our Wal Mart has the bins year round also. Currently they are doing this with all the horror movies because of Holloween. But, they are that low price, but set up nicely instead of a bin.
sigrist_2000 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 No the original poster is saying this is separate from the 5.50 bin..Walmart every so often will get a display holder case of dvds (usually 4.88)...sometimes good stuff, sometimes weird stuff...your preference really... But they are typically kept separate from the 5.50 for a little while til product runs a little low then they add them to the 5.50 bin or shelves...Most Walmarts here have bookshelves 4 of them to make a continuious roundabout type display....some still have the "dump bin". The 4.88 dvds you need to keep looking at each time they bring them out...you can get some hard to find dvds/newer titles/etc in there...same goes for the 5.50. Now on the BF dvds..they have great titles/movies...and you cant beat the price!!! ;ast year 3.44...the year before 3.88. (and the 5.50 dvds are typically not part of the sale (some may be but majority will not be..you'll have to scan before checkout. these dvds will typically be in another display holder and depending on movie proiduction (MGM, Warner, etc) boxes.)
whitesocks Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I must have missed the $4.88 movies at our supercenter Wal-Mart because I went there the other day and they had a cardboard holder but no movies....
happysunshine28 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Our $4.88 display was at the front by the checkouts, lots of good titles.
whitesocks Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Ours had $4.88 movies relating to Halloween. "Bless the Child", "Friday the 13th" movies, "Marathon Man", "Bringing Out the Dead", and "Rosemary's Baby". Other movies of the same type. I bought "Bless the Child".
