I think you can access these message boards on a mobile phone's internet browser, can't ya? Maybe i'll check later on mine. It all depends on what type of phone you're using, too.

UPDATE: Forum works great on my Nokia 6682. Most phones that even just let ya view text on a web site can still access the forums here. Bookmark the site while yer in line BF morning, folks!

You can get to the main GottaDeal website on your mobile phone, http://mobile.gottadeal.com/

Yeah, but I dunno if that'll let'cha access anything from the BF 2006 forums. Most of those are from the deals found in the main forums. If 'ya have a newer phone, 'ya should be able to access the BF 2006 forums directly.

awesome! i got a 6680! haha. well. i didnt mean

access the forum. i mean like accessing the main

page with all the deals.

oh, and another thing, if you guys havent notice,

google has an SMS service that txt people directions,

locations, and anything you want to search. i have

used the direction search recently, not bad at all,

really fast reply from the service.

anyways, was wondering, what if GD also had a SMS

service also, like we txt a store we want a list of deals

from, and bam! right at your finger tips. Or even a particular

item? iono, just thinking of some convienient ways of

shopping. haha.

Kewl phone, eh? :D Got mine specifically for the slightly faster processor so I could play those symbian-based NES, SNES, and GameBoy emulators. My new smartphone comes in next month. :yup:

Sounds nice, but isn't that why you bring the ads with 'ya in the first place? ;) Or just do what I plan on doing, which is print out a complete list of all the BF items in all the ads so 'ya can compare and price match.

If you have an e-mail address that you can set up filters and alerts to like Yahoo!, you can set your e-mail up to get a text message when ads come out.

If your cell phone has net access and an e-mail account, you can also use that e-mail account as the one you subscribe to updates with. The e-mail has a link to the ads, which should take you right to the listings.

This is how I got updates last year and was able to check GD.com when I was away from my computer.

Another thing to keep in mind is that last year, GD went into "Lite Version" on Thanksgiving and BF due to the bandwidth hits. This might make the site better for a cell phone. I can't remember, but I think that the BF Forums don't change, though. The shopping list wasn't available last year under the Lite Version, though.
