EliteABombAZ Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I remember during last year's BF hype, there was rumors of a "Cyber Monday" after BF that would be for online shoppers... how did that turn out last year? Wonder if it will hppen this year?

abentley Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I too recall it being hype and no substance. I was keyed up and ready to shop..yet no sales? I think a possible explanation may be that it is a busy shopping day becuase of BF, and what people need to get after that weekend.

One of their 10 Days of Specials would be nice around that time. I wouldn't be in the market for one of those low end BF specials that sell out in 10 seconds, so Dell or HP online might be my best bet. Ross or someone who follows Dell closely -- any predictions??

mrn8 Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Dells Fiscal year ends in the first week of Feb, so mid-late January is usually a great time to get a deal from Dell. Accordingly, their end of quarter sales are April, July, and Oct. What they have on sales and what quantity they are willing to sell at those prices is determined purely on their sales to day. They have financial objectives to meet, so if they need to boost notebooks, you'll see great deals on those. Same with desktops, servers, accessories...
