I actually liked the prime outlet i went to at jeffersonville, but couldnt look around much since we were tired from our trip to DC. i might and am thinking of going there this BF after the initial shopping here. i have one near which is about 45 mins away...

anyone else been there on BF and any ideas if their sales are good or not on BF !!! :)

No, I wouldn't go to an outlet on BF unless it's after Noon. One reason is because other stores have much better sales. Walmart has more people waiting outside than people shopping at outlets.

Michigan City, IN Lighthouse Outlet had some real good deals last year. Old Navy, Children Place, Stride Rite they had awesome deals. I remember getting clothings for 1.00 or 2.00 a pair of Tommy boots for my daughter for $15.00...I will be there this year instead of Wal-Mart.....since no layaway.

We have a Prime outlet just 20 min away. But I never go on BF, only sometimes during BF weekend.

But I usually spend way too much on BF that I'm afraid to go to the outlets too. :)

I'm not sure if we have any "Prime Outlets" near us but we never visit outlets on BF.

I used to visit my wife there at lunch on BF when she used to work there. I tend to only go there when Timberland or Columbia have their clearance sales. That's usually around April / May.

I usually don't do the outlets for BF but last year my dd was big into trolls. The Claires at the outlet ( and only the outlet) had watches and other stuff with trolls. So after my early morning rush to the regular mall. I decided to venture out to Five Oaks tanger outlet in Sevierville. My grandma lives there about 45 min away so I thought I could have breakfast with her after. It was a nightmare. Cars parked in the road, cops writing tickets, car accidents everywhere. I could not get within a mile of the shopping. This is a tourist area and apparently people come on vacation here just for BF shopping at the outlet. DUH  I never knew

I never thought of trying the outlets. I have one about a 15 minute drive from my home. It is pretty touristy though, I wouldnt think they would lower their prices for the day.

It's vague as to whether this refers to BF or not, but a December 2005 thread, " Awesome deals at Prime Outlets," discusses Prime outlet sales. Based on the date, I think it's just outlining early-December sales and not BF (but it is posted in the BF 2005 Archive).

I didn't see any other substantial outlet postings, so I'm guessing they don't have any deals other than the usual stuff. You'll probably do best by racking up BF deals in the usual places and waiting a week or two for the outlets.

I used to hit the Jeffersonville outlets all the time, and I found that the times I scored the mind-blowing, heart-stopping deals was the Friday before Memorial day, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day.

I did go one time on a black Friday, don't think I saw a single deal that interested me. Maybe times have changed since then, though.

What about Cincinnati Mills? Not as many stores, but closer to good stores if their deals turn out to be duds.
