A question out of ignorance.

I understand Amazon has servers all over the world, so the major power outage here in the Puget Sound area due to the bomb cyclone which passed through yesterday will not affect the sale going live? Since Amazon headquarters is in Seattle?

No they are cloud based. One region goes down that traffic is instantly rerouted to another region.

That said data centers have massive power generation systems that can last days to weeks generating more than enough power to keep the DC online.

I really wish my family would get my their Christmas lists! The time to shop, order, receive, wrap, find and pack a box and send out to them before Christmas deadlines is getting short! Not to mention having to spread shopping out over pay periods. I hardly ever shop Amazon and they always have Amazon stuff on their list.

Just started looking at today’s deals for their early BF, and they suck.  I have a bunch of items in my wishlist that I look at daily to see if the price dropped so I know what they are.  And today they say they are on BF deal…same price they’ve been but now they have the little logo on them.  Not cool amazon

Yeah I noticed the same thing.

I noticed that too. Also note that some items were on sale at the same price before but also had a coupon which made them even less. I noticed that last year and look for the coupon deals early this year. I've noticed also that the night before a gold box deal some of the items were cheaper and sometimes had coupons.

I just have the things in my wish lists that I check to see if they go lower. Some things do, some things don't. I then decide if I want to buy it. I can't do the scrolling, either. But can at least check for better prices.

I do this as well. And, when I put things in my wishlist I make a note on the item with the price it was when I added it. Amazon is bad about raising prices before putting items "on sale" for the same price it was a week ago.

Second and third this process 😁

I've actually did quite a bit of shopping on Amazon the last few days with the sale prices. They actually were sales/price drops because I'd been watching!

Safari LTD elephant that my preschooler told Santa he wanted from the aquarium gift shop ($45 there wasn't happening. It was $30 when I stick it on my Amazon list and dropped to $24ish)

Mickey Mouse camping set dropped to $6.99 from $8-$13 (it fluctuated a lot this month)

Phonics set with a code for $5

Crayola color wonder for $6. Anymore that's amazing pricing.
