jroyster86 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Hi all, forgive me if this is in the wrong place. Last year, my fake, pre lit Christmas tree that I bought on Black Friday many years ago, finally bit the dust. My fiance wants me to get a 7 or 7.5 ft pre lit Christmas tree, but she wants it up before Thanksgiving, which means I can’t wait until Black Friday to find a new one. Any ideas on the best deal for a fake tree that’s going to last me another 10+ years? 1
magickallight Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Michaels has thousands of trees to choose from and you can sort them by sizes and price as well. They say "Explore fresh features like Bluetooth music and tinsel + shop Black Friday prices all season." You can see them here. 2 1
sleepster1969 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 If you have a Hobby Lobby, they ALREADY have Christmas decs at 50% off......... 1

Unfortunately, my tree is pretty new so I can't justify purchasing one.
rwking75 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Hobby Lobby is a necessary Evil and you should be able to find trees there at 50% off.
jesusluvu Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Home Depot has some good ones on BF, but before black Friday will depend on your budget. Hobby Lobby is a definite must try. Especially if you can score a coupon. The Christmas Store, Walmart, and QVC all have pretty good deals as well.
Hubbalance Posted October 23 Posted October 23 My Home Depot tree lasted 8 years. I bought a Michaels one 2/3 years ago (through 2 Christmases) and its good so far! I really don't know about pre-sales though!
Kanyon71 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 We picked up our current tree from Home Depot 4-5 years ago. Now that we have tall ceilings again we will probably be picking up a bigger one this year.
Bopeep Posted October 24 Posted October 24 I lurk in a Christmas decorating group on Facebook, and they all talk about The Grand Duchess tree at Home Depot. I personally can't afford it, but it is a very pretty tree. That said, I got my tree at Home Depot like 8 years ago on Black Friday and I still love it. The dog chewed through the lights on the bottom his first year, but I just turn that side toward the wall :). 1
packratfamily Posted October 27 Posted October 27 We stopped having trees when we had multiple (failed foster ) Lab mixes who wagged their tails so wildly and often that the ornaments shot off and smashed on the walls Now its just table top and window sill ornaments 2
